The brisket and pork rib was pretty good but chicken was a little dry. I was underwhelmed by the BBQ sauce. As noted in other reviews, it was kind of a watery and vinegary tasting reddish liquid. Definitely too thin and not what I expected in a BBQ sauce whether you like it sweet or hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. It might be a good bar hangout.
Wasn't the best BBQ I've had, but it was pretty good. I got the brisket and the wife got the turkey. Sides are big enough for two or three people. They offer beans on the side for free. They were good. I would consider going back
The brisket was tough and dry. The beef rib was tough as well, and no flavor. mac n chz was dry. The sauce looked liked orange water. my soft drink was cold! lol there are better options out there.
First proper American BBQ experience, we have some BBQ spots in Australia run by American Pit masters so I have some kind of baseline but this was just impressive. Long queue but moved quickly, efficient ordering and great selection, we had Pork Loin, Beef Ribs, Chicken and Sausage and it was all executed brilliantly. Great service too ?
Flavors were so intense I almost couldn’t keep my face straight while eating it. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The ribs were amazing. Really regret not having gone again before leaving Austin.
Visited here for dinner and it was amazing! The meat was super tender and melt in your mouth. Can definitely recommend the brisket and the pork rib. The beef rib was still decent but at times felt a little dry in comparison to the other two meats. Plenty of well priced side options although it still came out pretty pricey at $70 for two plus $13 for two ciders. Easy to spend your money in here but the meat is really worth it in our opinion. The place got rather packed as we were leaving with a queue about 20+ deep out of the door. Definitely arrive early unless you want to be waiting.
First time visit, and we were not disappointed! Lots of great choices of delicious meats! Have all the white bread, pickles and pinto beans that you like!
The food here is outstanding to say the least. You will get more than enough to enjoy. Try the BBQ sauce and the baked beans that you pick up after you pay.
