A few things to be aware of. Brunch menu only sold till 2:30 pm then switched to a snack menu till 4pm but location stays open the whole time. 20% gratuity is automatically added to bill but it’s still not a tip so to be kind they also want you to tip.

Loved the atmosphere. The restaurant was filled with natural sunlight and the decor was so calming. Service was great! They did charge a 20% fee which was fine because service was awesome.I had the Southern Breakfast which was seasoned well and the biscuit was perfect. I didn't like the grits because it had some type of herb in it. My son loved his brunch burger and my husband had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly packed with flavor and he also liked the waffle.Reservations are recommended because they get quite busy. Also try to arrive early because you may have trouble finding parking.

The food is great. Service, not so much. I put my name on the list for a party of 4 and 2 other NON-RESERVATION parties of the same size were seated before us. The new red/brown haired girl taking names out front (no eye contact) forgot about us and I had to remind her 3 times that were were still outside waiting in the heat and 2 other parties were seated before us. She said they were going in order but that’s untrue. I watched the others request a table after us as walk ins.The water given to us at the table was warm and had things floating in it. The glasses smelled like raw eggs, and I had to ask for clean silverware at the table. Once we were seated things were fine food wise. She told us about the added gratuity which was fine. I just wish they deserved it because I felt like second class citizens in their restaurant.I won’t be recommending this spot to any other of my black friends because based on my experience, I don’t believe they’ll be served well.

Great food, prompt service, seated quickly

Our dining experience was all around wonderful! Great food, fast and attentive service (all thanks to Lacresha!). Will be returning, recommending, etc.

the food is always incredible - and service is just perfection - one of my favorite places to go with the family

Great good and service

My family and I enjoyed our time celebrating my fiance for his birthday. The service was excellent and so was the food. We will return!

We have been in the past, but the last two times have been too disappointing and will most likely mean that we will not return. The noise level has always been a challenge at Colleen’s. It is a relatively small venue and all hard surfaces. Our latest experience was the worst with feeling rushed by wait staff, the biscuits were tough and cold (!) and the drinks were mediocre with a mimosa served in a water glass due to “there are no clean glasses.” I support only locally-owned dining establishments, however, given my recent experience at Colleen’s I will be reluctant to return. I acknowledge that these are challenging times in the hospitality industry, but for a mandatory 20% service fee imposed on the bill I would expect to have better food and service.

Great as always! Their pot pie is delicious! Everyone is extremely friendly and attentive! Highly recommend.
