I understand short staffing and new trainee and all. We all been there. But the person they put to take orders is probably the worst one yet.The tall Asian guy with glasses who took my order did not only mess up my meal order, but really clueless on the menu. I asked him for honeydew milk tea, which is my go to drink from here and he told me they don’t have it on the menu. Funny that it was there a few days ago when someone else took my order and now they don’t have it?Also, I asked for peppercorn chicken and pork chop with rice. Got my meal promptly and drove home. My mistake was for not checking my order there. But when I got home, I got pork chop with rice and what appears to be fried chicken with basil side dish they have.I hate to be that person… and not that I don’t like coco’s, but honestly, if they put him on the counter, I’ll probably walk away…

Loved the dishes in this place. In a mostly Asian strip mall off 183. I had the pork shoots rice ball which was very good. Very savory. The spicy keep was very good but not everyone will like the texture. The green onion pie is a savory fried scallion thin pie. I definitely want to come back to try more options. Also checked out the Hong Kong market next door if you want to take the next level Asian market versus H Mart.

The best and freshest boba I’ve ever had! The place is clean and orders are processed quickly. My wife and I will definitely be returning here for bubble tea.

Great service, tasty food. We got the Chicken Lo Mein and the Peppercorn Chicken (I think) on recommendation of the guy at the counter who was very helpful and had a friendly disposition. We also got the onion pie and the rice bamboo pork bun (the rice pork bun had a very unique flavor and grew on me fast. Loved it)Lastly I got a Taro Coconut Boba smoothie. It was good but in my opinion there wasn’t enough flavor in it. I wish I could have tasted more of the taro. I know it’s hard to keep the syrup blended in a frozen ice drink. I’m going to see if I can order extra flavoring next time and see if that helps. Will definitely be back!

First time here to try it, was so excited but turns out quite disappointed. I’ve had so many bacon pork rice before at other places, but the taste here totally not right and dry, I would say no taste at all, and portion is small, definitely not worth the $11.50. Btw Thai tea with Perl was $6.35 which is more expensive than other bubble tea places, it’s fine if taste good then I won’t judge the price but it actually taste not right either, light and not enough cream, Feel annoying that I spent $20 for this type food and waste about 20 minutes to wait after ordered the food. ?‍♀️

I love this place, the boba is good and the other drinks as well, and the food is pretty good too! Personally I love the green onion pie;)

I love the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, the food was kind of a let-down. We ordered the fried chicken with rice and the seasoning was just way off. The chicken tasted bland and we were missing the pepper seasoning in this iconic Taiwanese dish. The drink was good though. I recommend the papaya milk and it’s delicious!

Coco's used to be my favorite spot, I would come here at least once a week before I moved to Houston. So when I moved back to Austin I had to come here. I usually get the peppercorn shrimp cabbage soup and their watermelon juice. Today when I went it started off great. The staff was very friendly however I was told the cabbage soup was no longer complimentary and was 3.00. I was really dissapointed by that. In my opinion that's one thing that set this place aside from any other Taiwanese spot. Their cabbage soup is so good and complimentary just makes people want to go back. Other than that when I was drinking my watermelon juice at the end of the cup I felt something hard in my mouth. When I took it out of my mouth it was a peice of fried food, there was a chunk of fried batter in my watermelon juice...and I hadn't even eaten anything yet so I know it wasn't just in my mouth. Lastly, the peppercorn shrimp was not the same in terms of flavor and it was very soggy for being made fresh. I'm not too sure if maybe it's new owners or just a bad day or what but I'm very saddened that my favorite place failed me so badly. :(

Very yummy. Satisfied my longing for Taiwanese food and boba tea. 好吃Coconut milk tea $5.65 and crispy chicken $6.95. 鹽酥雞 is quite authentic, portion is good size. Perfect place to hang with friends for a half meal.

The appetizers, egg rolls, potstickers, and the crispy chicken nuggets tasted great, but they did not have fish sauce for the egg rolls, which I always have gotten from Asian restaurants.Other than that, it was fantastic.
