Food was delicious. We had oysters, seafood some wine. Couldn't have asked for better food and service from our server. However, once we signed the check a hostess came and asked us to finish out leftovers somewhere else. When we asked where, she pointed at a stair well outside going to a 2nd floor (outside of restaurant area). There were empty tables inside and outside and only 2 couples waiting yet we were asked to finish elsewhere. Food was good enough that I'd love to go back if hostess is better trained.

Clark's is closed?!?!? That's a bellwether for Austin! Big time. Another ATX icon falls by the wayside.

I ordered the raw oysters (appetizer), THEN I ordered the oven roasted oysters. Incredible and completely different taste. Now was my bill high? YES.If you're looking to get outta the house and have a casual dinner with your bro(s) or gal(s) I highly suggest. For drinks I ordered the mule and coors light. I'm gonna be honest, they served the coors in a draft glass and I felt like royalty. This place also has great burgers! Some of my fans might think, "Is he taking yelp too serious now?", nah fam I just can't think of anything clever about oysters. ~Until next time~

Had a wonderful experience dining at Clark's. We had been wanting to come here for so long and glad we finally made it in. We sat outside and everyone was socially distanced very well. We started with a couple of cocktails and half a dozen Sea Cow oysters (amazing). For our entrees we shared the crudo plate, the crab Mac and cheese, and the linguini with clams. Everything was so so delicious. It was such a great experience I can't wait to come back and try a whole new set of items.

Incredible waitstaff. Atmosphere was great. The food was on point. Their oysters cannot be beat! Super fresh and so good! We loved it. Highly recommend this restaurant. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. Thanks for a great evening!

Everything! Oysters were fantastic and fresh! Crab Mac and cheese had lots of fresh crab and the lobster roll had huge portions of very fresh lobster.

We went here for an early lunch. They had socially distanced outdoor seating in the shade which was perfect. We shared oysters, burger, and crab Louie salad. Great wine/beer list. Service was phenomenal. Would probably get the dressing on the side next time for crab Louie. It was fresh and delicious, but a little over-dressed for my taste. The burger was solid, although I'd probably go 100% seafood next time. The fries were unique, ultra thin cut and super tasty. Expensive outing but no regerts. It was a lovely lunch for a celebratory Friday.

Perfectly executed, inventive and delicious food. One of the very best in Austin!

Clark's is a well loved restaurant in Austin and they consistently prove why. Order the beef tartare, crudo plate, and crab cake to start. Throw a dozen (or more) oysters in there for a palate cleanser and then finish off with a lobster roll, burger and their hand cut rosemary fries. The patio creates a lovers atmosphere to enjoy a delicious seafood feast. Top everything off with some cocktails and you've got yourself a party. Try to make a reservation (especially in COVID times) because they have limited seating outdoors and are ALWAYS busy. Like always. They have a small parking lot that seems to not be in use right now but very limited parking in the area in general.

Joel was our server yesterday and was great! He was attentive, fun and provided great service! Nothing was out of the ordinary (as Clark's is always delicious) but I'd like to recognize everyone who is getting back to work to be able to provide a nice (and normal feeling) atmosphere again. So thanks to all the staff at Clark's and Joel! See you again soon!
