I decided to give this place another chance. I had been here before to pick up food and the burger was super dry and service had been mediocre (pre-pandemic).Eating here today has turned my experience around. Waitress was a little busy, but still managed to provide service with a smile. The food was flavorful and robust, especially for being vegan. The atmosphere was sophisticated with a hint of Austin weirdness! Love it

Nice modern, clean place. Was super comfortable eating brunch there. The food was amazing. I had the potatoes and faux-sausage gravy and added some just egg. My girl had just the egg scramble and the brussels sprouts she said with the best. You definitely want to come eat here. The server, Charlotte was real nice and helpful with our order as well. We love it when we get great food and service in a nice place!

Would like to give this 3.5 stars. The food was good, except the kids meal, but slopped together for to-go. We got the Citizen Brat and Chik'n Tacos. The side of green salsa was very small for the amount of chips given. Ordered the cheesecake as well. To-go is served in a small, round container. We had a laugh at how small it is for $9. We like lemon flavor, but the lemon topping was so tart we scrapped it off. The kids bean and cheese taco was mostly beans. Our child is a healthy eater, but there wasn't enough cheese nor did it look remotely appetizing. We were excited to try this place and would like to give it another shot. First impression just wasn't great.

This is a vegan restaurant. We had lunch here and service was pretty good. In terms of food, few were good and few were not. Assam burger, chik n tacos and cauliflower fries are worth trying. However, citizen burger, strawberry lemonade and yuca fries were not good. They lacked both taste and flavor.

We dined in here and had an amazing experience. The food was terrific and our waitress was great and friendly. Would definitely come back here

First time trying at this restaurant. It is a vegetarian restaurant and you can try anything on the menu! ??There are many things to try but I got to have a bbq sandwich! Unique tartness attracts my appetite but personally I liked the tofu sandwich the most. My friends ordered Citizen burgers and imposter burgers and I got to try but I still liked the tofu one the most!If you are around and thinking about vegetarian options, this could be yours.Come check it out.Cheers ?

Citizen Eatery has great flavors, and it’s all Vegan/Vegetarian. Im normally one to eat the meats but went here and enjoyed the food. The Citizen Power Bowl was really good. I also ordered some asparagus and tried the buffalo cauliflower which was cooked really well; I was surprised honestly. Corey was a great server given recommendations and ways to make the meals taste even better. Looking for healthy meat alternatives or just a healthy meal, hit up Citizen Eatery.

Love this spot. Great food and service.

I love the idea of all day breakfast. In fact I go out of my to search for vegan breakfast places because I find them hard to come by. I ordered the sausage breakfast and the bbq burger. Overall, wasn’t too happy with the food and mind you, I’m not a picky eater by any means. It was a bit cold, I found everything salty, and the Texas tumbleweed fires were oily. Perhaps I came on a bad day.

Honestly, I would go here for the cauliflower and garlic aioli alone. One of the best prepared cauliflower dishes I’ve ever had… YUM.Their pesto is divine. Highly recommend the pasta and the Tofu sandwich. The atmosphere here is relaxed and doesn’t feel rushed. The indoor seating is spacious and you can easily hang out here with friends for a few hours. Highly recommend for vegans!
