We had a great experience at this authentic Korean BBQ. The brisket and spicy pork were excellent and easy to cook. The soondubu (spicy tofu stew with beef) was awesome and the side dishes (banchans) are fresh. The restaurant was busy but we received friendly and responsive service. My friend and I had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but the food was worth it. I would certainly return to explore more of this traditional menu!
Traveled here from Buda to get some Korean BBQ. After living in Korea for a few years, I was looking forward to this. We ordered numerous dishes but our favorite was the pork belly and kalbi on the table grill. The service was friendly, fast and accommodating. Lots of choices and full line of wine and beer.
Haven't been here in a while and when I do, I usually just order my fav Kimchi jige dish. This time decided to do the dine in cook top BBQ and man was it soo good, little bit expensive bit man so worth it. It's usually really expensive when you don't know what to order and you try everything, it's all about ordering just the stuff you really want to try or eat. Git the B2 Marinated Beef Short Ribs man cooking them and eating them was soo good. B4. Yangnyum Dwaeji Galbi, probably my new fav dish, if you like hunks of meat and the chewy tendons with some fat on it, and covered with a slightly sweet sauce on it, man so good. And if you like seafood, the Dolpan Nakji Gulsu, stir fried baby octopus with Kimchi, and udon noodles with sweet and spicy Korean sauce is very good too. I would eat here regularly if I could afford to. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Excellent place, the best Korean restaurant near by Austin, try the Ribs and the hot dishes for 2!!!
It’s one of the best in Austin honestly. However, Austin’s Korean dinning experience is still growing so that’s not too good of a thing to compare it to. The food is good, the meat is delicious. As far as the other reviews here go, it’s true, they are understaffed and at times don’t respond to the bell. However, they will respond to the 저기요! However, the reason for my 1 star deduction is the lack of options other than the main staples. They don’t have rice paper, purple rice, etc… I understand it’s due to not having that much of a Korean presence in the city, however, it has to start somewhere.Again, it’s one of the best you will get, for Austin.
Wonderful Korean food! I lived in Korea many years and it’s hard to find a Korean restaurant in the U.S. that compares to the quality! We had Korean bbq and it was just as I remember having in Korea- the marinade is the perfect amount of sweetness and saltiness. It was a great experience to cook the food at our table on the grill. Fun night and great food! Also loved the servers who were super helpful!❤️
I met some of my coworkers for lunch here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our lunch party kept growing, so they offered to move us to the private room. Our waiter Ben was amazing and patient, and the food was delicious. We had the Kimchi pancake (crispy), Jabchae, Beef Bulgolgi, Soft Tofu Seafood Soup with Galbi, and combination meat grill. We will definitely come again.

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED and overhyped. I don't mind paying more for Korean BBQ if I can enjoy a good meal. But for OVER $50 per person, this was terrible. We got 2 beef items and 2 beef bibimbaps. The meat wasn't bad, just not worth this much. I've tried KBBQ recently, which was a much cheaper and better option than this. Here, the Bibimbap was underwhelming. Now, I've only tasted bibimbaps in Korean restaurants and Japanese BBQ restaurants here in Texas, so I might not know what it tastes like in Korea, but I have been eating bibimbaps in various restaurants for years and this is not what it tastes like. Bibimbap is one of my favorite rice items and this restaurant was the first time I was disappointed in a Bibimbap. We got the ones in a stone pot, and it was just white rice topped with some boiled veggies and an egg yolk. I think there was a tiny sprinkle of some beef. You can see it in the picture. It wasn't good at all and had no flavor to it. I literally had a Bibimbap at Gyu Kaku 5 days ago that tasted much better. But for $13.95 per Bibimbap (if I remember correctly), it's definitely not worth it. Anyway, don't waste your money on the Bibimbap here unless you know what it tastes like and actually enjoy it. The marinated short ribs (Galbi) was pretty good, and the Bulgogi was not bad, but definitely not worth what it costs. The service is decent, and they cook the meat for you. The servers share tips so make sure to tip extra if you go. Overall, I wouldn't go back here. I'm sure I can find better Korean BBQ places in Austin.
We ordered a hot pot and a seafood pancake, the food was delicious and the service was good. The interior is clean, well maintained, and there is no cooking smell considering it is a BBQ restaurant. Overall I think it is worth what I paid for.
