Stopped in for dinner last night while in town. We the chirashi, king salmon ceviche, katsu chicken, and a bottle of Wandering Poet sake. The service was great and the food wasn’t bad. The chirashi was sliced thinner than most places and the tuna wasn’t bad but not super fresh (you can see the color and breakage/deterioration of flesh in picture). They were out of King Salmon and I approved a replacement with the lower grade salmon used in Sake nigiri. For me (everyone has different taste) the mix of ingredients didn’t work and perhaps the fattier King Salmon would have completed the mix, such as the truffle oil, better. The katsu chicken was good and came atop a nice bed of mixed vegetables. Sauce on the side would have been better in serving style so breading doesn’t get soggy. The sake bottle our waitress recommended was excellent. Very cute space and nice menu variety!
We absolutely loved the veggie sushi. Staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere inside. Definitely recommend!
Food was unique and tasty. My husband and I love sashimi. The portions we big and fresh. The salmon felt like butter melting on your mouth. So yummy. ? ?
Their fish is always fresh and tasty, have been to other sushi places in Austin but nothing like cho sushi, it’s my go to when craving for sushi.
Cho sushi is by far my favorite sushi place in town, I have tried many sushi places in Austin, but nothing beats Cho sushi! their spicy crab salad and Texas roll are to die for, and let’s don’t forget about their cocktails! If you are looking to have a great night out in Austin now you know where to go.
First family dinner out since COVID restrictions. It’s my birthday and wanted to go somewhere nice. We booked Cho Sushi Japanese Fusion, our go to family Chinese restaurant. Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend all dishes.
Every dish I’ve had at this restaurant has been incredible. The staff are kind and welcoming, the service is excellent and the food is wonderful. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Been long time customer, today they ruined our valentine's day. I don't plan to ever go back again.Ordered to-go in person, took twice as long as it was supposed to. Once I got home, i realized they forgot food as well as putting a vegetarian roll next to fish rolls. Instantly turned around and went back to store.Host took notes of missing/unusable food, 10 minutes later manager comes by to inform me that they will refund the money for the wrong items. Then I spend another 30 minutes waiting (they were understandingly very busy) until the manager eventually returns to ask me if I was waiting for anything. Apparently they were under the belief that simply not giving somebody the food they ordered and just refunding the money somehow is "good enough".I guess I'm the crazy one thinking the refund was them trying to to say sorry for me spending a total of 2 hours trying to get all our food while my wife ate by herself before it got cold.
Wonderful Valentine's Day.The presentation is exquisite.sashimi very fresh.I will come back
Absolutely fantastic. Restaurant were very accommodating finding us a table on Saturday evening with a late booking. Staff were very helpful on navigating the menu options. Food was amazing.
