I order from them about once a week and the whole family loves it. Quality is always great and consistent and we love the tacos and all the bowls we've had. Can't recommend them enough! Especially with the lack of quality non-fast food places in the area!
Kimchi fries were burned. Tacos didn't taste like real meat. Restaurant was warm and air felt stale. Sorry to say I won't be going back.
I tried the Tofu rice bowl and although it smelled amazing it wasn’t outstanding. It comes with a fried egg, rice, stir-fried tofu with onions and green pepper and some sides. The sourness coming from the sides (kimchi, pico de gallo and prepared soybean sprouts) are altogether overpowering, and personally, I think that pico de gallo doesn’t belong in the bowl. The salsas are nice and spicy, and the workers are really nice. I will return and try other rice bowls.
First time trying this place out. Definitely recommend it! The sliders and kimchi fries were amazing! The chips and queso were fresh and tasty.
First time to try chinos breakfast tacos! I love my breakfast tacos on Sunday, we ordered 4 tacos for two people and it was not disappointing at all. This place blows Torchys tacos out of the water. My favorite was the bad taco. 1 really nice guy working the whole operation.
Great breakfast tacos! Don’t let the name confuse you, this is legit delicious food. It’s a creative combination of Mexican & Asian food. The portions are Large. They have a diverse menu you don’t find anywhere else. Customer service is outstanding from this great ‘mom n pop’ shop. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying the other menu items.
This hip mix of the best flavors of two worlds is amazing! The owner said they started as a food truck and that captures the feel of the menu and vibe.Breakfast tacos with traditional Mexican style fillings plus kimchi and rice bowls with traditional Asian toppings plus adobo. Order chips and guacamole or kimchi fries. The chef marries the flavors perfectly so your mouth is happy and you leave with that slow burn that both types of food induce.$20 will get you and a friend full.
To be honest not the cutest place inside but compared to the other Chinese store a door down in the same strip mall, this one was more appealing. Don’t eat the book cover fool you, the food is fresh and appetizing. I wasn’t sure what to make of the fusion and I’m trying to eat healthy so I ruled out the fried foods ad ordered a rice bowl which was very tasty. I didn’t know the lil fried roll or taco came with it but it was definitely the best part! I may return to try some of the other options like the fajitas and the tortilla soup but I’ll definitely get take out or eat outside. Decor needs work. Bathroom is gross. And just doesn’t loo organized or cute at all. Needs decor fixer up. But food is cooked in front of you and cashier staff is super nice and helpful.
We’ve gotten takeout twice now, and it’s been great both times. The rice bowls are full of flavor with a nice little spicy kick. I’m so glad we found this little gem!
Chinos is a very unique experience. Its not traditional mexican or tex mex food, so don't expect that. The breakfast tacos the good, the bad, and the ugly are bomb and cooked fresh. However sometime other dishes I've tried are overcooked and chewy like dishes with beef or fries. Also the kimchi doesn't taste like legit kimchi it just taste like cabbage with chili powder on it. I love the breakfast and chicken fajitas so much though I give 4 stars.
