I ordered 3 times from this restaurant and the food was good. The 4th time I went there the food was definitely not fresh and when i asked for it to be replaced the lady told me “I’m not the boss I can’t replace it and it tastes good everybody likes it.”Really bad customer service for a return client. After spending my money there and having to throw the food away, it’s safe to say I won’t return.Take your business else where, where you will be heard and appreciated as a return customer.Answering your reply:It was sesame chicken. Rice was good but the sesame chicken was not.And I think your asking the wrong questions now, this should have been handled in-person when I mentioned it to your staff. They should have taken the time to listen to me and try and figure it out.Plus it’s disrespectful to tell a customer that clearly has a concern that “everybody like it” like I’m the one with an issue. I’ve had it three times I know how it supposed to taste like. Very very disappointed in your service and the way I was treated by your unprofessional staff. Like did you guys think I wanted free food? I paid for it and returned it almost full. For paying what I paid and being a return customer I should have had better food and customer service.
Having eaten in Chinese restaurants in my life where the owners/cooks were, literally, right off the boat from said country, I am confident in saying this is not only good, but authentic Chinese food.My personal favorite dish is the General Tsao's, and my least would be the Lo Mien (there's just something about the oil they used which really clung to the noodle without adding much flavor. Granted, I only ordered it once, so it might have been an off day, but it is only fair that I mention this).
Well, I love Asian food so I had hoped this would be a close to work location for me to grab lunch. Such a disappointment. It's stuck behind the Domino's on Guadalupe, but worse is the door and area outside the door was so dirty you couldn't see in. I spent over $40 for chicken Lo mein and green beans for one and the beans were so salty and overdone I had to wipe them to even eat them and the lo mein tasted "old" is the only way to explain it. No flavor, no spice, entirely white. It was just awful - period. Sorry but zero redemption. Wish there was.
Pretty dang bad... They served my food in <5 minutes, which is good, but according to my roommate, it took them 25 minutes for him. The prices cross the line into sit-down restaurant territory, but the quality of the food is equivalent to a fast food stall. On my second visit, I ordered Sichuan Beef and Tofu, and afterwards, I received stomach pain and indigestion, intestinal burning, followed by diarrhea. I did not experience these symptoms when I ordered Mapo Tofu, which means that their meat preparation is subpar. Just find another Chinese restaurant.
I ordered General Tso online but it wasn't made spicy. Came in person recently and ordered it again but this time spicy, and not only was it cooked well, but the spice was perfect. Would definitely order here again.
Delicious and fresh! Only complaint is there’s way too much celery. This wasn’t even all of it. Not even half.
Most authentic Chinese food I’ve had in the austin area. A little on the pricier end and the dining room doesn’t make up for it, but overall great!
If you look at my ticket, I clearly asked for scallions only and NO CHILI PODS. This is the 3rd time the cooks have blatantly ignored my request on this dish. My family and I regularly order from here but you know what they say…”3 strikes and you’re out.”Don’t allow modification requests if you’re just going to ignore them.
This is by far the best Chinese food in Austin. No place in Austin beats the flavors and quality of the food here. This is my to go spot every time I am in the area. I do miss their king pao trio and their salt and pepper prawns. I hope they bring them back one day. But everything on that menu is delicious. They also make the food very fast. If you’re in Austin and are looking for Chinese food. Stop by, it’s 100% worth it.
I had Chongqing chicken and I don’t find it spicy. It was just a lot of dried peppers. It was really crispy. Food was still good. People were nice. I would like to try different food later. Most of the foods are bit pricey.
