The food is delicious, but they're inconsistent with the amount of food they give you. When ordering in person, the order usually comes out as expected, but from ordering online multiple times, I've found they leave out ingredients and don't provide enough when ordering double proteins. For the price (which is not low!), it's disappointing.
A little overpriced in my humble opinion for quick Korean, but very good. The portions are sized fairly for what you pay, so it is a good value. The staff is very helpful in helping with the sauce choices (ask for a little sample if you are still not sure). My opinion is to get the sweet potato noodles over the rice.
I've been thinking about trying out this place for a while now.Even checked out the reviews and was looking forward to it. Sounded delicious. Finally went and was very disappointed.Veggies were fresh. But the chicken had a weird taste. The sauce was not good in the spicy chicken,at all...When you go somewhere and you get bad customer service but the foods good, it's not a big deal. But bad customer service to boot.Lady was impatient and rushing us. Now keep in mind it was our first time going there.I don't normally put reviews but today was such a disappointment, that made it worse because I was looking forward to it.
Fries are barely cooked if at all. Chicken was just not enjoyable. This place is a far cry from their food truck. Jfc someone open a decent late night restaurant around here
Chi’Lantro is a great Korean-Mexican fusion restaurant with multiple locations in Austin (and the owner made a deal on Shark Tank). Think Chipotle with the process of choosing the items, protein, etc. but with better flavors. The magic sauce, a spicy mayo, goes really well with the spicy pork. They are known for their kimchi fries which you need to try if you haven’t had them.Such a great lunch, thanks Chi’Lantro!!
I usually grab lunch here. Solid spot. The Spanish ladies who serve do a great job and are so nice. Even though there's a sign that they are short staffed I've never had issues. I also love that they have stubborn soda. It's delicious.
I just left Chi’ Lantro @ Barbara Jordan. I am happy to say that driving home and eating it at my dinner table… I am surprised on how good and fresh my bowl tasted! I am very happy with my food and plan to make another visit in the near future. The magic sauce and spicy ranch are delicious. Everything was fresh and yummy!
I ate here for the 1st time and really didn't know what to expect. This place reminds me a lot of Chipotle or Qdoba. My food cost about $16 and I feel it was a little more expensive compared to the other two restaurants. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone interested but it strongly reminded me of the other restaurants and looked to have less ingredients to put in the bowl then the other restaurants.
They did everything great. I love Chi'Lantro and I've been to almost every one they have in Austin. Never any complaints. Food is consistent and customer service is always good. Plus they always get you in and out pretty quick. You can never go wrong with the noodle bowl.
I really loved the food though it was my first time here. Veggies are fresh. I ordered half and half of brown and white rice with spicy chicken, veggies, guacamole, and kimchi. Loved the combo but one thing disappointing for me was the chicken since they were too dry and was not fresh and also smells a little weird. Over all, I enjoyed it and definitely would go back to this place.
