We were seated by the noisy kitchen on our last visit, which was not pleasant. The service was very slow but had been fine on a previous visit.
Not that this is their fault because it's not but if you want customers to come in and it's required that they wear a mask you should have some extra masks in case the customer has forgotten theirs. And that's exactly what happened to me. I forgot my mask. And I asked if they had any masks for customers and they turned me down and said no. So not really good customer service. Not really interested in helping out their customers either. That's a shame.
Service was good. Food was average. Fried items have too much breading on them, fries are well seasoned but come out warm to cold, portions are good for the price. If you are looking for a quick, moderate priced place to go, not a bad choice.
We had 2 really tasty grilled chicken with honey roasted pecans. They came each with a warm croissant. The lettuce was fresh and the salad also included cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, and shredded cheddar cheese.
We eat here regularly as a couple and with friends and have never been disappointed. Very good variety of menu choices. Good sized portions and reasonably priced.
My wife and I ate here in late March on our Texas trip. I had the shrimp Caesar salad and she had the shrimp meal. Both were very good and we had very good service from our waiter. Good location. Our first time at this chain and the prices were reasonable and we would come back.
This may be the best franchise restaurant my wife and I go to. The food is very good and the service is excellent. Last time we went I had the Chicken Pot Pie and my wife had the Salmon Salad. I have had the salmon here before and it was excellent !!!
I am usually not one to eat at a chain restaurant like this (see also Chili's, Applebee's, Friday's, etc.), but since I received a thoughtful gift card from my coworkers, I decided to give it a try. While the menu offered standard American fare, the food was much better than anticipated, as entrees were actually prepared and cooked to order, not simply reheated from a frozen state. The salad had fresh, leafy greens, the burgers were pressed by hand, the buns were baked in house, and the chicken was fried to order. The value of the meal was fair; although, it is important to note that most options did not come with sides - they had to be ordered separately at an additional charge. Service was attentive and thorough, but the one knock on this location would be cleanliness. The floors were dirty with a waxy build-up, the tables could have been wiped down a bit better, and the bathrooms were a mess.
We have Cheddar's in WI as well but this one blew ours away. Everything was the best I've ever eaten. The sirloin steak was melt in my mouth and the onion rings were phenomenal. The presentation, served in a stack was fun too. My granddaughter ordered the maple chicken sandwich and enjoyed it very much. The place was clean and the service was excellent. I would recommend this Cheddar's.
