I went here at the recommendation of my coworker. We each ordered a burger and two of us shared a basket or fries. We each found our burgers to be very good and the fries were excellent. We each had several drinks and when I asked the bartender what they make with sweet tea vodka. He told me about a preferred drink like an Arnold Palmer and it was excellent. I also went back to him to asked for a shot of Skrewball and he suggested adding salt to the rim which he said would make it taste like peanut butter cups. He was right, it was very good. I would return here again if I am in town and looking for a great burger and dive atmosphere.
It is counter service for your drinks and you place your food order at the kitchen window. The burger was delicious but very greasy.
Really amazing burger in a unique location. The jukebox was packed with interesting music from all generes. Outdoor area and pool table on the second floor.Check it out. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I got the spicy one and was not disappointed
We went here based on other reviews for the Bloody Mary. Wasn't bad but lacked salt. The vibe is Goth/ Macabre in this bar. Maybe we will try the burgers next time.Bartenders were attentive and took care of us. Fun place to go on 6th street.
We went here by advice from a bartender on 6th street. He said they had the best bloody marys and good hamburgers. He was right about the hamburgers bloody marys not so much. I had the KC burger, and my wife had the mushroom burger. They were excellent, we also had the chili cheese fries which were delicious and a meal itself. The bar tender was extremely nice. We would go back
We were there for a wedding and our family and my brother in laws family walked down sixth street and I was told by a local this place had the best burgers. They were right. We all had burgers and sandwiches and each was amazing, no leftovers, our plates were clean. Hole in the wall with great food and drinks. I had the "Madison" it was so good, I could have had another since everyone had to try it. My son had a plain burger with cheese and it was great as well. I will go bakc for the amazing burgers. Go during the day with families.
This stop was suggested by a few locals during our stay, so we had to check it out. It's a dive, but the burgers are amazing!
Delicious burger...hands down the best burger I've ever had! The variety of fries is delish, too! Chili verde french fries...yum!! Must try!
One of the best burgers ever! Mushroom Swiss had great flavor. My vegan friend loved the portobello. In decent weather, there's a little room for personal space, too....but would be nice to have a little more. Great experience overall!
One of the best Cheeseburgers I’ve ever had… wait I can’t really call it just any cheeseburger it’s a pretty healthy burger… pretty cool place only thing that was a little off is the self service thing I think they could use waiters because you get patted down when you walk in… anyways I ordered a couple of beers first and a water big it’s hot as hell in Texas around this time of yeah ? then I ordered the Amarillo Burger with fries… man ole man fully cooked through and STILL super juicy I have a video to prove it lol.. and the burger was perfectly seasoned and the sauces and the jalapeños made the burger even better I HIGHLY recommend this place is your ever in the Austin Texas area!!!
