This was our first time going back into the restaurant after COVID. We'd gone for take-out during COVID; it was so good to get back and enjoy a meal at one of our favorite places.
Our first time dining at Cafe Malta was superb. The Steak Bistro & Lombetello was phenomenal. Only one thing could have been improved -the brisket raviolis were undercooked with less flavorful brisket. Splurge & get Both the Lavender Creme Brí»lée & the Flourless Chocolate as they compliment each other fantastically. Definitely worth returning to try everything else on the menu! Great ambiance :) All & All a wonderful experience.

Seems like they added a few tables to accommodate more patrons which makes the dining room a little crowded. The service is always top notch. The food is simple, elegant, flavorful, fresh and prepared to a high degree of quality. Every meal Iâve eaten here has impressed me and I would recommend each one to anyone.

It's almost back to being the same restaurant pre-Covid, which is fabulous! Once they solve the continuing personnel shortage (a problem throughout Austin's restaurants) they'll be ready to return their "around the world" menu and their evening specials. Extremely happy with our meal there and my guest is eager to return there for another wonderful evening.
Consistent and scrumptious every time. Portions are awesome. What a concept - appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and coffee in one sitting! This is the only place where we can get the full experience and not feel like weâve swallowed an elephant.
