Good place for fried chicken and sides. Mashed potatoes and okra are always good. Can't beat the gravy with Serendipity mixed in. Skip the mac and cheese- the boxed stuff is better.
They serve fresh when management is there but when there's no manager they pre make all their food and serve no matter how long its been up on the racks
Love their tenders with fries and of course the gravy! Add their special salt seasoning and *lip smack* yum
Chicken is bland and super oily. Oil was still dripping off of it when I got it home. The green beans were good, and their rolls are amazing. But the chicken is sad and tasteless.
Give Rozie a raise! Was missing some items from a past order and came back for a replacement. She was attentive and thorough, assured us everything was in the bag this time around
Very much a typical fried chicken place. in terms of fast food it is pricey. The chicken is good, but not the sides.
I come here specifically for the chicken livers. They are always overcooked and dry and old. Hardly ever fresh and juicy like they should be.
Tenders juicy, flavorful gravy, gizzards were tasty. Okra was good. I wasn’t a fan of the liver but that’s just a flavor thing.
I have tried every one of the major chicken chains and all of the local chicken outlets that I can find in my area. Bush's Chicken is the best! Could use a little more seasoning but the chicken is moist, the skin and crust are crisp and it's not dripping oil like so many.
Another great visit. Freshly prepared hot food. Staff is fantastic. This is a great location.
