This place is horrible, I don't want to come here ever again. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, the manager a d the waiters were very rude to me. However, the host and cashier were nice and understanding. The food here are horrible, even my husband who is a human garbage disposal have to spit out the food. Flies and bugs have been found in our plates, we told the waitress about it. The she disappeared and didn't came back. So we decided to go talk to the manager about it, as it would be normal in a situation like this. We went the manager and brought her to our table, and tge waitress was taking our plate away, so the manager said she didn't found any bugs. That defiantly did this one purpose because why didn't the waiter come when we need her, but immediately when we left to talk to the manager, she appeared and destroyed our evidence. This place is very nasty and have poor customer service. Would never recommend anyone to ever come here, and this place definitely have to reviewed by the FDA!

For a buffet this place is wonderful. Great lunch prices and literally all the options taste great. Usually buffets have some stuff out that is kinda sketch and tastes like nothing, this is different. Their noodles and rice is awesome and the main entrees are tasty. Options are plentiful but less than other places (remember that sketchiness). They don’t waste too much space putting out “safe” options like pizza or spaghetti. The safest it gets is fried nuggets, chicken, shrimp, fries and egg rolls. Can’t beat the lunch price of $12, with a tea and tax $16 per person. Will visit again.

It's a large, open place with a high ceiling which doesn't feel crowded despite the number of tables.Now...The food is definitely above average buffet quality with a good variety. It's worth it. Maybe not for kids, unless your kid eats a lot or really enjoys a particular dish they have, which will be above average buffet quality.REALLY now...If you like sushi, this alone is worth it. It's the best buffet sushi I've ever had, by FAR. It is fresh, there's good enough variety (10-12?), and it is always being replenished.I zero in on about 4 that I really like, but I can eat a ton of it and add in a few other sushi for variety. It's a buffet, yes, but it's easily the best restaurant buffet I've ever been to (haven't had a cruise or Vegas casino buffet though).I try to limit myself on the Chinese food (it's so fresh, hot, and good!) so that I can enjoy the sushi the most. I eat a lot, and I can't get a full belly on any restaurant sushi without spending a good $75-$100, or more. It's better than HEB sushi, for sure. If you like HEB's sushi--I'd call theirs okay, and certainly overpriced--you're doing yourself a disservice by not going to Buffet Palace.

I pretty much grew up going to this restaurant regularly. So it has always been one of my favorites as far as Chinese buffets. The food is consistent and tasty, I can always expect the same dishes and it has been this way for well over 10 years. Thats why I love it so much, the food is amazing and the restaurant is always busy!

The food is great for a buffet. Service is good and food is always ready

Great! Food was delicious!

Good food, but very bad service. Our waiter was rude and never showed care for us.

My stomach was grumbling while I was cruising around the streets on the outskirts of sunset valley. I look up and see the sign Buffet Palace. My heart skipped a beat and I instantly made the decision that I was going to cease my stomach pains at feet of Buffet Palace. I stroll into the so called “palace” and was instantly disappointed because I had just realized that it is a glorified cafeteria. I decided to send it anyways, so I grabbed a plate and began to walk through the buffet “line” with no one in it. It was then that I made the decision to snag some chicken nuggets. I then sat down and attempted to enjoy the so called “chicken” nuggets. They tasted like rubber, but at least they had a slight crisp to their edges. Then I noticed that I needed some sauce with these nuggets, so I went on a journey back to the buffet line in search of sauce. I took a lap around my potential sauce options and stumbled upon hot and sour soup. I was ecstatic and my heart began to race as I was desperate to delight in some soup. I instantly filled a bowl of what I thought was going to satisfy my tastebuds. Boy was I wrong. My first spoonful was a rush of disappointment, and soon realized it was not only my first spoon full, but my last. At this point in the meal I was pretty down, not only because the food was wildly over rated and tasteless, but solely because my glass of water had been empty for a while, causing me to nearly faint of dehydration. I then asked for my ticket and was shocked at the price. I dropped $16 for an endless buffet of disappointment and poor service. I left the doors of the palace with an angry stomach and empty pockets. I hope to never find myself at the buffet palace again and hope for those that do take the risk of eating there that they don’t have a heart attack.

I love the Palace! Sometimes it feels good to "pig out" and eat until my stomach can't anymore! The variety of food is excellent, great quality, great sushi selection, fast service, never out of any items. I took all my friends here for my birthday.

Good food and the buffet was clean
