This place is amazing! I’ve had the cachapas and the arepas and they were both to die for! My favorite food truck in that area. Would recommend to anyone!

This is one of my favorite places in all of Austin, so much so that it was the place I picked for my birthday dinner. Any time I mention this as a dinner option, the entire family is on board, even my kid who is a picky eater. We love the arepas (avocado chicken salad version with black bean and cheese is my fav), the beef cachapas and all the empanada flavors. And the cilantro sauce is dangerously delicous; it's the perfect accompaniment to basically everything.

I required a catering order with about a week of notice. I was provided the food I required, tailored to my exact requirements. Staff was very communicative and flexible. Food was provided according to agreed upon schedule and was delicious.

If you’re on here trying to decide where to eat >definitely< go here. The food is so delicious, I’m coming back for sure. They even have vegetarian options for my sister.

Today I eat my breakfast at this place. Carmen Elena was very friendly. I eat AREPA filled with shredded Chichen and was soo good.I recommend this to Venezuelans and for local people it is very good. Try the cachapa with cheese, tequeños and empanada for breakfast.Try Pabellón for luch, it’s very good.

I go here all the time for the Cachapa, which never fails to blow my mind. Get the one with beef and add sweet plantains. The cilantro sauce is an awesome compliment to the sweet and savory flavors.

How many times do you eat in a day?Venezuelans have 3 main meals: a large breakfast, a large dinner (around noon) and a light supper in the evening. Their food is influenced by European, West African and Native American traditions. Their social culture is very much like Asian cultures - collaborative, community based and collectivist. So if you visit someone in Venezuela they will feed you!Cachapas is one of their most popular dishes and my favorite too. It is a thick, tasty pancakes made from maize (sweetcorn) and served with a slab of white cheese called “queso de mano”, topped with lashing of margarine. The sweetness of the maize and the creaminess of the cheese paired. Add a bit of pulled pork or shredded beef and it provides an explosion of flavors from the texture and saltiness of the meat.Cachapas in Venezuela’s culinary history dates back to pre-Colombian times. The indigenous people used stone pestles to grind corn and cook it on clay budares flat griddle plates cachapa-style. Originally only made by the locals in the state of Bolivar, you can now enjoy it right here at Budare’s on Burnet. It was lovely to meet Carmen at Budare’s. They have been serving Authentic Venezuelan food in Austin for several years now. They were the first Venezuelan food truck in Austin and they paved the path for others to open as well. We can delightfully say we have added another Venezuelan favorite to our list alongside @auroravenezuelanfood

Arrived around 11:15am. Finally opened their window around 11:30 (after I had ordered from banh mi place next door. Went ahead and placed an order because I wanted to try it out. They were out of the Arepas so had to order the Cachapas and only protein choice was the chicken fajita. I selected the fried egg and cheese toppings.Plate was a substantial serving and was delicious. Lots of cheese and a couple fried eggs really added richness to sweet corn pancake and the chicken had a nice seasoned flavor.I do wish it had come with some sort of salsa to balance out the richness but I didn't bother to ask.If you are already there checking out the food truck options, go ahead and try it out. I wouldn't go out of my way though.

Food looks amazing but worst customer service ever. I ordered a delivery that was delayed time and time again. I called the restaurant and they were tremendously rude, quite unprofessional. They didn't help me canceling the order or getting a refund. Couldn't you be a little kind at least?
