This place has such good breakfast options. They have a good amount of different breakfast sandwich to choose from and the few I have tried have all been delicious. The best item though is the everything bagel kolache. It has hatch chili and pimento cheese and it really is just amazing! Love this place!
Food for thought… If they sell out prior to you getting there how is that their fault!? They have many different ways for you to order prior to your arrival… shoot even call before coming so you don’t waste your time if they are sold out. Yes they have standard business hours like any other place but once the food is gone it’s gone or perhaps they can serve you air!?? Anywho… Thank y’all BBS for making my mornings better with each bite! I 10/10 recommend
The food here is delicious and I am looking forward to returning often for breakfast! Being born and raised in Brooklyn I have to say I am fiercely dedicated to have my BEC with SPK. They don’t offer Ketchup so you need to BYOK. I’m going to put a stash of packets in my car.But seriously, this place is great!
When we dropped by for brunch it was 42 degrees outside, but the Chicken Sammie was served piping hot. They make everything fresh here so it takes some time, but it's delicious.I'm wondering what the tiny hint of sweetness was. Could have been the caramelized onions.Had coffee from a neighboring trailer, which helped us endure the cold February weather while we waited for our food to be made.Chicken Sammie was served by itself. I guess you have to order everything separately here. I'll be back. I'd like to try their biscuits and gravy, and see what sides they have. It's obvious that they care about food quality, and that makes me want to explore the menu more.
I've gone here twice, the first time was fantastic - worth 5 stars even! It had great portion sizes and flavor because I assume the individual serving us was the head chef. The second time we came there were new folks and the plate was... underwhelming to say the least. The piece of chicken I got didn't even fill the bun. I don't know what happened but I'm disappointed in the lack of consistency because I was really looking forward to coming back from my first experience.
I have been a fan of Brooklyn Breakfast Shop for a little while now - I stumbled across them on a lunch break somewhere around a year ago and I have been back countless times. I have dreams about the biscuits, fresno cream cheese, and pickles (If only I was kidding). One of the first times I went to the trailer, the owner, Ryan, was working and asked if he could tell me and my coworker why the food we were about to dig into was special. He explained the special qualities in the food he makes. He explained why his biscuits are so unbelievably tasty. He talked about the small details that go into his meals. It was a foodie's dream.Fast forward a bit, and I had Brooklyn Breakfast Shop cater my wedding and I could not be happier with that decision. Every part of the process from the first point of contact, to the tasting, to the communication leading up to the day of, to the actual service and presentation of the food - it was all unbelievable. Ryan (owner) brought two of his employees - Dominic and Darcy - and they were such hard workers, but so sweet and attentive to the guests. I had met Dominic at the trailer in the past and he is always on it. He listens, he engages, he is quick - just an awesome person. Darcy, I only had interacted with at the tasting prior to the wedding but she was a rock star. And of course, Ryan, was the real MVP. He had such an awesome set up for the food prep. He was so kind to me and my husband. He makes you feel like you're friends every time you talk to him.Every single thing I ate at my wedding was delicious. I have zero complaints or critiques. It really was that good. The catering menu is slightly different from the trailer menu, but literally every piece of food I have eaten that has come from Brooklyn Breakfast Shop has been well worth it. Ryan also took my input on what I wanted for the wedding and made the menu so incredibly perfect that I am still riding a cloud of happiness. Though, gotta say my favorite part was finding the boxes him and his team left in the catering fridge labeled "B+G" (bride + groom) and absolutely demolishing them as soon as we got home.TLDR: If you get the chance to eat at Brooklyn Breakfast Shop or use them for catering, you will NOT regret it.
Overrated. This place is overpriced and the food is nothing just okay. We got the chicken biscuit, breakfast bagel sandwich, and their “special” cream cheese chocolate chip stuffed french toast for $45. There were 3 orders in front of us and we waited 40 minutes for our food. There is a note on their truck that notes it’s not fast food, however if you take that long to make the food - make it correctly! The cream cheese chocolate chip french toast had ONE, just ONE single chocolate chip so it was basically French toast sandwich with a block of cream cheese between it. The egg white on the bagel sandwich wasn’t completely cooked and was runny. They also didn’t give any utensils or napkins. Maybe we went on a bad day but for the price and the wait you’re better off going to one of the other local spots on the area. If you go, pack your patience.
This food truck is definitely worth a visit! I ordered the “Sweet Heat” and it was so divine! Every bite tasted heavenly. The chicken was savory and crispy. The biscuit was yummy and complimented the chicken well. The egg was a piece of art. The moment I saw that it was an orange yolk, instead of the typical yellow yolk, I knew this was gonna be a good meal.
One word: Underwhelming.I’m sorry to have to leave this review but I’m very disappointed in the overall experience. We came on Thursday (11/11/21) at 1pm and there was not a busy weekend crowd that the owner can shift blame on. The wait time is soo long for there not to be a crowd rush. We waited over 40 minutes for a dry, unseasoned bacon, egg and cheese and a pork sandwich with a runny egg so undercooked that the whites were still clear. There was one person in the truck at the time and it was a mess. Dirty work area with eggshells on the floor. He guy inside looked like he just woke up.Honestly, the photos look better than the food tastes. I recommend you going somewhere else and not waste your time.To call yourself “Brooklyn Breakfast Shop”, you can at least try to make an authentic New York style bacon egg and cheese. Not just slap the ingredients together and wrap it in aluminum foil.
Was looking for a southern biscuit with some ATX flair. Was not disappointed. Nice little food truck park. Dog and kid friendly. Get here early on the weekends. They were sold out of all biscuits and bagels at little after noon last weekend
