Was in Austin for three days and ate there for two of them. My little loved to get the fruit options and the vegan options were astonishing! The gluten free options were very plentiful as well. My bf and I tended to order way to much food but it was all so good. He got the jackfruit curry and I’m telling you it was amazing. The Marsala chai was also great! And let me tell you the lemon bar was THE BEST THING EVER. Loved this place and will for sure be back.

The Renedict was one of my favorite dishes I had during my visit to Austin. This cafe has an expansive menu with something for everyone and the most charming cafe atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Plus, they feature local artists on the walls!Order the Renedict and Blueberry Cornbread with vegan butter and thank me later.

The food is amazing, nice music and the place is lively.I am a hard core meat person but during my meal here it never crossed my mind. In my personal opinion it's hard to get veg dishes taste real good and bouldin does a good job in that front.1. Spicy pesto plate - This is a must try for the pesto sauce the dish will speak for it2. Ren taco with tofu - surprising the tofu in the dish wasn't plain and boring it was flavorful. The tortillas as well comes in wheat, corn and flour. Size of the taco is significant.3. Veg Royale - it's a decent veg burger, the patty was made of tempeh I believe.Special mention to Olivia she took care of us really well. Service is really good. I liked her integrity when she explicitly mentioned about gratuity being added to the bill and no need to add extra tip if you don't want to.Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely visit this place again.

When visiting TX you sometimes need a reprieve from all of the beef. Stopped in for a leisurely lunch at Bouldin Creek Cafe. Pretty large place with outdoor seating. We didn't feel like waiting so took two seats at the counter. We thoroughly enjoyed the Massaman jackfruit curry and the roasted beet reuben sandwich (which was a special of the day). Service was attentive and I was pleased that they are part of the one fair wage so they add a 20% surcharge to all guest checks to give to the restaurant's staff. Was dismayed when our server asked if me and my husband (I am Black and he is White) needed separate checks. I guess Texans don't understand that interracial marriage has been legal since 1967. Highly recommend the food though.

The food here was so good, I'm still thinking about the blueberry cornbread - it works at any meal. Great mix of options on the menu, friendly servers and staff in a cool space. Dogs welcomed on the patio. Can't wait to go back.

As non-meat eaters, my husband and I sometime have difficulty finding places to eat when we travel, but not in Austin. With so many good choices for plant-based restaurants, we had a hard time picking a place for lunch, but finally decided on Bouldin Creek Cafe. Upon check in with the hostess we were told there was a 45 minutes wait. Normally, I would have went somewhere else, but it was a nice day and there were chairs and water outside to make the wait a little easier. When we were finally seated, our server was friendly and smiling and quickly took our order. The wait for our food was a little ling, but not to the point of irritation. The food was delicious. I got the leek and potato omelet with rye toast and tomatoes and my husband got the South Austin Stir Fry. The rye toast was some of the best I have ever had - thick, buttery, crispy slices. Overall, this was a great meal in a pleasant (even if very busy) environment.

Excellent food, fun atmosphere, great service. The herbed hash browns were so good. Great vegan options. Would definitely return.

Excellent . I love the food and service. I highly recommend it.

Friendly, cozy, great service and the best grilled cheese ever!

The number one spot, an Austin original, small business we should all support. The staff is always eclectic & nice. My favorites are the tofu Tarzan salad, Ruby Rueben, Veggie Royale with facon & avocado + a side of spicy pecan pesto. The lavender mocha is an obsession & the spicy pesto plate is a must every time. I like to order at the bar & eat my food in the back or to the side away from everyone ;) Mica was my most recent server, super kind such great service!Leslie is my fav ✊??
