Authentic, delicious Indian food. My vegetarian Telugu parents, who are harsh judges of Indian food, liked the flavors. The dosas are great and the North Indian was also excellent. The biryani (we’re from Hyderabad) was great, perhaps a bit under salted, and the sauces were well executed. Good, polite service as well. Portions are large, you will have food to take back.
Ate chicken curry bowl from Reddy Dhaba food cart when it was too parked at Tesla. It was pretty good. Good flavor in the curry. I'm curious how they make it. And tender chicken. Perfectly cooked rice. The naan was nice and stretchy too. A little thick, but still good. Kind of strange how they throw salad in the same container as the chicken, sauce and rice so it mixes with the rice, but I know you do what you can with to-go containers. I'd eat here again given the option and probably try more things.
Went to this place today, tried vegetable roll, samosa, masala dosa and mysore masala dosa. Veg roll and samosa were ok, but the doses were horrible, they were very thick, too much potato curry stuffed in, sambar was ok! Veg biryani was ok too! People who don't know south indian stuff should not serve south indian food, if they don't know the basics!
Best Indian food in Austin. Wife and I moved away from the area and we went to try another Indian place in Cedar Park where we now live and we were totally disappointed. Bombay Dhaba has spoiled me. The Korma and Biryani are the best. Chicken Tikka can't be beat either.
We tried boneless chicken biriyani, masala dosa, mysoore masala dosa. All were really good. One of the best Indian food trucks in Austin.
Best Indian food I've had in Austin and the surrounding area, and I've tried a lot of them. Very generous portions as well.
Food truck with outdoor seating only. Large menu with several apps and entrée options. Great dosa options that are large portions! If you like spicy they take that up another level. a Samosas are amazing with the chutneys too
Love this place. The samosas are great with the sauce. The paneer tikka masala is our favorite, very flavorful, perfect amount of spice (on the hotter side), the saag dish is excellent as well. And so fast, we order and its ready about 10 minutes later. If people say they are rude maybe you’re expecting something I’m not…they take my order politely and hand me delicious food 10 minutes later…i have friends for conversation.
I was misled by the reviews. Probably this place is only good for Dosas. I would suggest dont order any curries or chicken tikka. If you are someone who is allergic to food color or just dont like too much food color stay away. Chicken tikka has nothing but food color on it.
We ordered 6-7 different dishes and most of them were not very authentic except for one. Mysore masala dosa is something that you can expect to match real Indian food standards. Plain Idli vada combo was also decent. Other than that, most of it is pale and lacks flavor, the use same batter for everything which is why everything tastes the same. I mean it's okay but definitely not the best Indian food in this price range. Chai-Tea was definitely overpriced and didn't taste half as good. :/
