The best mochi donuts and the best people! The donuts taste amazing and I love that there are frequently new and fun flavors to try. I usually stick to chocolate when it comes to donuts, but these donuts are always so cool and pretty that I'm encouraged to step out of my comfort zone -- and I haven't been disappointed! I love the blueberry one, and a recent fave (that I hope makes a return) is Thai tea glaze with Fruity Pebbles on top. The owners are awesome as well! Teresa is so friendly and welcoming every time I pick up donuts from her. And the whole process is so smooth! Ordering online is easy and the pickup is fast and efficient. One of my favorite local businesses!
There's few things I would drive across Austin for and these donuts are one of them. I love the creative flavors and fun limited collections. They are fresh and delicious. I have to make sure I cut them in half to share with my husband or he would devour them all! These are a perfect treat on the weekends, def be sure to put an preorder because they sell out and it's easy to see why.
Last summer I stumbled upon these amazing mochi donuts which I had NEVER even heard were such a thing until I ordered some the first time! Bom Bakeshop introduced my love for mochi donuts?I have only gotten them twice in a row because I was jobless last summer but definitely considering re-ordering again now that I have money at my expense.Also for the people complaining about “greasy donuts” they are donuts they need to be fried, unless you’re getting baked donuts which not many places do.Anyways, if you’re thinking about giving these amazing mochi donuts a shot I HIGHLY✨ recommend it!!!You will not be disappointed.Every season they come out with new flavors and it’s such an amazing thing to look forward to.?
I should have written this review a long time ago because I LOVE these mochi donuts! But if it also helps this wonderful business set the record straight on their intent and practices, even better! The seasonal chai was literally perfection. Joy is the backbone of this business and they do provide this in these delicious bites! Do yourself a favor and go pick some up ASAP.
Bom Bakeshop donuts are amazing. The flavors are awesome and the texture is far and away the closest to a non-GF donut I have found (after years of searching!). Highly recommend - hoping that they will open a permanent location soon!
I love this place. Every time I go I get more donuts than the last time thinking that they will be enough. Spoiler: they are never enough. I also love these people. They are full of joy and so lovely. Keep track of where they are popping up. It’s worth it.
I'd been searching for good mochi donuts in Austin and one day Bom came across my IG. I immediately pre-ordered for their popup and it was the best decision! Their donuts are soooo good, and as someone who has to eat gf, it's great to have a dessert that I can enjoy. Totally reminds me of the treats I'd get in Hawai'i.I also appreciate the business owners as people. It's really clear they aim to do things the right way. From running their business consciously to being COVID-aware, I'm grateful for the ways they go above and beyond.
These mochi donuts are so good. The flavor of the frosting is much stronger than any I've had from Mochinut.Bom Bakeshop is a small operation, but their donuts are incredible. Unique flavors that are constantly changing means you could order as often as you want and not get bored.I'm from San Antonio so I don't get to enjoy them often, but they are definitely worth the drive when I can make it.
AMAZING gluten free donuts, so light and fluffy, awesome flavors and beautiful decorations. My family loves anything coming out of Bom Bakeshop and for anyone who misses old favorites since becoming gluten free, these baked goods are a must for your list. Also incredible gluten free bread which comes out at special times. VERY thankful for the Bom Bakeshop owners who get it, are wonderful people and for bringing something new to the gluten free Austin scene. Thank you!!
I've got to say: I don't need gluten-free, and I don't even really like donuts, but im so happy I tried these! The treats from Bom Bakeshop are a joy to eat! The monthly flavors are always so inventive, and I've really enjoyed the foray into churros! You won't be disappointed!
