Omg! I am from Dallas and I would love this in D town! Austin peeps y’all are lucky to have them! The eggs and biscuits flowed so well! The eggs were just right and the biscuits were like melting butter! Absolutely delicious. Visiting friends or locals you have to try this place out for B fast. It’s worth it!!!And Biscuits and Groovy- business idea to move to Dallas! Maybe cedar springs area!
As a big supporter of food trucks this place has some healthy portions for their biscuits and gravy considering the price. So much so you could probably order one and split it between two people.I have tried this place a few times and it’s always been good. The location on Duval has a couple of picnic benches you can eat on ride by the truck.
A breakfast and brunch Austin staple in town. Been going here for years and I've made sure to bring all out of town friends/family here. Great vegan/vegetarian options too, I'd recommend the Gloria and add potatoes!
Fantastic biscuits and gravy, and they can make every dish vegan! This is a great place to go for a weekend breakfast after waking up late, or for a midday brunch. I've had both the omnivore and the vegan versions of most dishes, and they ALWAYS deliver. The homemade jams are good too, and also totally vegan. This place is fantastic, definitely a go-to breakfast spot. Highly recommend!
This is convenient to my house. But their biscuits, gravy, and meats are just terrible, so I can't recommend anything here. It's a popular place, so some people must be having a better experience than I ever have had! Maybe there's something else, besides the biscuits, gravy, and meats, that people are enjoying?
I only took a star off as I had pre-ordered online, was told 30 minutes and left my place at the time to pick up, just to give a little buffer. When I arrived I still had to wait 10-15 minutes like it wasn’t ready or made yet. IDK what the fix is for this or is this just the standard as it happens at most places.Other than that I got the Gloria with potatoes. Everything was delicious and had good flavor. Cool neighborhood with picnic tables to eat outdoors.
Best B&G I've ever eaten. Got the namesake minus chives and it was amazing.

I'm a huge biscuit and gravy lover and I couldn't have found a better breakfast spot. There's a nice coffee spot around the corner called The Flight path coffee. I got the Donna.
Biscuits and Groovy has long been on my wishlist, and I was lucky enough to drive by it while they were open and my stomachs was on empty. It was meant to be. The gentleman taking/preparing orders was beyond kind. The wait was relatively short considering. The biscuits and gravy? Amazing! Best in ATX if I do say so myself.
