Long wait. It was nice eating outside. Our sandwhiches were good, but I think I expected more for a Pastrami sandwhich from a Jewish Deli...the ladkas were served w sourcream and applesauce, but they were huge, so it was like eating hashbrowns. My wife's chicken Philly was good. Overall, friendly staff, a long wait, good sandwhiches...but I fon't see wgat the fuss is about.

Really really really disappointed. The matzo ball soup tasted like bullion/grocery store carton chicken broth. Definitely not freshly made. The matzo ball itself was quite dense and slightly over seasoned. For $20 I feel like I could have bought 5 gallons of chicken broth and 5 boxes of saltine crackers and had 50 better meals.

Had the breakfast corned beef and egg sandwich. Rather underwhelming, not much flavor, lacked salt ?. I would try other items on the menu next time.

I've been to Biderman's many times in the past for bagel breakfast sandwiches and occasionally lunch sandwiches, but it had been awhile. When I went for breakfast last week, they were out of a lot of drinks since their machine was down. Not their fault and the staff were super nice about it. We got bagel sandwiches and water. I felt like the bagels have really gone downhill. Just round, slightly dry bread, without the chewiness and bagel flavor I expected. The eggs and sausage were nice, but eating the bagel itself was a chore. Hopefully they are just having an off day.Pro tip: if you want real Jewish deli sandwiches go across the street to the kosher HEB ?

I got a Reuben. It was good, but I was disappointed ?. It was just not what I expected. Other places that I have had one, the meat was very thinly sliced and piled high. This one the meat was sliced a lot thicker and in the middle of the sandwich. Probably won't go again....

Food was decent, not hot or even warm but flavor was okay. My biggest issue is their building does not have a female handicap restroom that is actually accessible. The door opens half way (blocked by wall) and it's impossible for anyone in a wheelchair, maybe even crutches to go inside of it. Not even sure this is up to code for a public establishment.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I bought a slice of coffee cake. It was delivered nearly frozen. I asked if they could heat it a bit or microwave it so I could eat it. THEY REFUSED. The cashier just blew me off and refused to make good. This is a sorry place, and I will never buy anything here again. The cashier was rude and unresponsive. Is this the way you treat customers?

Disappointing. Sandwiches are average at best, service was disappointing, and I promise you the worst matzo ball soup you’ve ever had.I waited in line for 3-mins and then ordered a breakfast bagel. The cashier told me breakfast cutoff was noon. I looked at my phone, it was 12:00 noon. 99/100 restaurants in town would have served it. (Weren’t polite about it either)I ordered pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup instead. A few pieces of the fattiest pastrami imaginable on 1/4 inch bread.I’ll give $100 to anyone who can find worse matzo ball soup in Austin. SO watery, no flavor, and the matzo ball was a flavorless chunk of matzo meal.

Excellent bagels, sandwiches and plates. They need a better fountain drink setup, and larger cups. Staff is very nice and quite helpful. You can eat in or do takeaway and cleanliness precautions to are top notch.

2 stars because their sandwiches are quite good. Service and the rest of it? Not good at all. 3 recent events I recall:1 - texted for curbside pickup, waited 5+ minutes until finally going in and grabbing the food myself. Store was not busy at all.2 - getting orders wrong - I get that It happens, but it has happened many, many times3 - Salads are terrible and hugely overpriced. Ordered a Greek salad - it was a bed of lettuce, 10 olives, and 3 slices of peppers, with some feta cheese sprinkled on top. $10. Added ‘chicken’ (turned out to be mayo loaded chicken salad with no warning) which cost another $4. $14 total for $2 of food. Also - skip the fries and go to Wendy’s. Biedermans charges $5 for a tiny serving.I wish they’d improve, but it doesn’t seem likely. Go to Wholy Bagel one block away for a much better experience.
