I've been here a few times and I always have a great experience. Review by Gabriel Culiat
I’ve been contemplating on making this review but I can’t stop thinking about it. Every time I am up here the manager, Eric, is constantly calling the cops on someone for parking in the handicap spot. There was a lady who pulled up, obviously she was disabled and couldn’t walk. She was limping and also someone was helping her in. Eric saw them come in, waited until they got in line before walking up to them and telling them they need to leave. He made a big scene about it too. Most of the customers were disgusted and left. He told her to leave because she didn’t have a handicap tag or sign and that spot was for that. The lady went on to say, she hasn’t gotten one yet but most people would understand when they see her without a leg. I felt so bad. She wouldn’t leave so Eric called the cops. It was embarrassing. The cops looked so done as if this was a normal thing. Reading the reviews, it seems that it is. The lady ended up leaving but it was just so wrong. Never coming back here. Eric probably needs to become a parking lot patrol instead of a manager for a coffee place. Seems like he cares more about who is parking in that spot more than anything else. It’s sad.
Mochas FTW. This location is a great "rainy day" coffee location. We don't get many of those in Austin, so if you simply want to get out of the heat, the darker atmosphere still appreciated. The drip coffee is good, not great though. However, Bennu is known for its Mocha varieties and rightfully so. The Don Quixote is my personal favorite.
Great tea selection (the red roobios Texas Gold is thr best) lots of great selections of unquie coffees (a cold brew steamer with butter bomb is tasty) plus lots of power and spots to sit and work/study. The folks working here are always friendly and make a great pull of espresso. I only dock a star due to they are no longer 24 hours. Parking during the day can be dicey.
Down the road from our air bnb this place was great! The coffee was really smooth. Was happy the gentleman was able to make me my favorite flat white. We loved all the different chairs inside. I did not see outdoor seating I am not sure though. They say 24 hours on the sign but when we were there the hours were 6am-6pm. Great little neighborhood coffee shop. Did not get to try any of the food.
The coffee here is pretty good, but the bizarre wifi policies are annoying. I visited with a coworker and purchased several items. The barista rudely refused to give us two wifi codes when I had clearly purchased items for multiple people.

Can’t say enough good things about this location of Bennu. Every single thing they do is on-point! My favorite coffee in town. The staff are beyond friendly & so well trained. They really appear to love their jobs & it shows! They have a 3hr wifi limit per purchase which I like & think is more than fair. Such a cozy place too. Music is great (90% of the time) :)
Their coffee drinks are pretty good. Their Don Quixote and Scarlet Letter are my favorites. Their pumpkin bread is large and tastes good as well. Very comfortable seating--even the non-upholstered chairs were fairly comfortable to sit in. They also had extension cords hanging from the ceiling down to each table, so you can work on your computer no matter where you sit without having to scramble for an outlet when your battery gets low. While the chairs and tables look like they were all bought from a salvage yard, they're all still quite sturdy and functional, so more power to them for upcycling! Baristas were perfectly amiable, though I felt it took a little too long to get my drinks, considering they weren't that busy. One of the better coffee shops in Austin in my opinion--this coming from someone who ISN'T a student! I do wish there were more parking though.
If you like a friendly student atmosphere, this is it! It can get a little loud sometimes depending on the crowd that’s studying there but in general it seems to be a chill place. Have only been there once. Lots of seating with outlets, plus I got lucky enough to snag a spot with good lighting. I also like that they put a time limit on the WiFi access, it helped me to stay on task until it kicked me off. The coffee was pretty sweet, I had the Don Quixote
