I recently started working within a mile of this place and finally decided to look them up after driving past and being curious. The menu alone is tempting. They've got a variety of subs, both hot and cold, as well as wraps, pasta, burgers, and other deli items. The prices are also exceptionally fair. While it's not cheap, Bella Donna has managed to control costs to keep the prices comparable to a lot of other places with less impressive food. And despite having a huge menu and long lines, you can easily eat here (and probably have time to spare) during your lunch hour.I've been two days in a row and tried two different dishes. I've had spaghetti and meatballs as well as their chicken parmesan sub. Both show a mastery of marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, and bread that many Italian restaurants in Austin could learn from. When I had the sub, I upgraded to a combo with chips, a drink, and a homemade cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was the perfect finale to lunch. This is definitely in the lunch rotation for me and with the scope of their menu, I won't get bored with it.
Took a group of friends for lunch. Had the pastrami on rye and it was wonderful! Even though we got there at lunch-time, the service was quick and the food was great. Will return!
Thus far everything I’ve had on the menu has been of excellent quality and good flavor. The price point at Belladonna’s can’t be beat.Chili dogs and Fritos pies hit right. The hot sandwiches and burgers are delicious. Burger features a real beef hand formed patty. The double cheese mushroom burger is delicious and has GRAVY. Yes; gravy. The Brooklyn Meets Philly is also delicious and I needed to attack that deliciousness with knife and fork.Pickup orders are well-packaged. Wrapped in foil which is appreciated, as I’ve been sampling hot sandwiches featuring gravy as of late.I’m looking forward to sampling other items on their menu.
Great sandwich shop in the industrial area off of Burleson Rd. The service is fast and the tables are always clean. It is quite a deal for an $8 sandwich.I highly recommend the Reuben and the Philly cheese steak. Everything on the menu is we're trying and the cold subs are even good.I would say the hot sandwiches are their specialty and they cook them fast so not much of a wait even during the busy time of the day.
Great little sandwich shop with TONS of options. I had the over stuffed Pastrami and the other folks with me tried the Muffalatta, the Club, and the Cheesesteak. Everything was excellent and high quality. The only drawback is that they aren't fast, mostly due to take out orders. So, wait until you aren't in a rush or call in for take out. 5*
If you are looking for the Chicago taste, not quite. It tasted like a Philly with no ketchup . It wasn’t gross but it’s just not a Chicago style Italian beef … the onions bell peppers and jalapeños have been boiled and were a soggy texture .. the juice/gravy had no flavor .. which just made the bread soggy for no reason . The meat is cut too thick which made it dry .. and it was small . 4/10 in my book but I will come try more sandwiches
The food was good but the reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I saw the chefWasn’t wearing any gloves while touching all the food. I saw him walking in and out of the kitchen touching door handles and then just picked up where he left off making sandwiches without washing his hand or wearing any gloves. which is pretty gross.
Me and a few co-workers eat here a lot and its always good food and good service
I am very picky when it comes to subs coz once you cook and you prep everything urself at home, you just become hard to satisfy i guess; however this place serves the best turkey and cheese sub in town hands down ... can't say the aame about the other options coz i only had two others bit were not as good as Turkey and Cheese
Talk about amazing!!! The burgers are so awesome you have to try this place.
