Great local Bean & Pint Shoppe. Stopped in for a cappuccino and a treat—stayed to work in a comfy spot with chill vibes. Why go down the block to corporate soul-killer Starbux when I can enjoy a guilt free coffee AND a freshly draughn pint (that’s not a typo, get it?!?). Nice spot to relax and do some work.
Absolutely loved this place. The migas tacos are to die for; they use super fresh ingredients, and the coffee is amazing. It’s also a great spot for teleworking. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
Food is sloppily made and overpriced for the quality/taste. The chicken was gamey. Brown lettuce on the wrap. Very few options.I really did not enjoy eating here. Maybe it's better to-go, but wouldn't bet on it.Also loud. Hard to hear staff. No sweetener for the bitter, watery coffee.Bad experience overall. Wouldn't go back.
Recently discovered this amazing south Lamar coffee house. They have amazing breakfast options, plus they make some delicious pizza as well. There is also a good selection of draft beer. So coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, beer, wine, and lunch menu. Love this South Austin eatery!
I got the honey lavender latte and my husband got a nitro cold brew that I’m not remembering the name of but it had cinnamon and honey. They were both excellent. I also got breakfast tacos, my husband got a breakfast sandwich and my kids all were happy with the baked goods.
Everything about this establishment is subpar. The coffee and espresso drinks that I ordered were both burned, despite being over 4 dollars each. I ordered a cortado and a cup of black house coffee. The entre I ordered (tofu scramble) was okay at best and flavorless at worst. The music was distractingly loud, I could hear it through the music playing on my noise canceling headphones. When I asked to turn it down, the woman behind the counter (who obviously had a problem with me for some reason) told me that "I'll check what the volume is at but i doubt I'll be able to turn it down" in a very condescending tone. The internet cut out twice during my two hour stint there and was extremely slow when it did work. This is not a good place to get any type of work done. 1/10, do not recommend.
Great place to get a breakfast wrap n coffee although they also serve beer and wine. Food was good, coffee was good too but a little too smooth for me as I like a little bite similar to Starbucks dark roast. Not to say I didn't like it because I did! First time there so maybe I ordered wrong. Overall I would surely recommend.
The menu is ambitious for a coffee shop so you think they must have mastered a good range. Nope. I ordered the thai tofu bowl which was mini sized (for a regular price), mostly rice, a handful of sweet potato and one small slab of tofu and dressing with two flavor notes - sour and has heat - not flavorful. My companion's panini had a tiny portion of meat and was very dry. Positives - the bread was decent and the food does seem fresh. With so much great food in Austin they will not get second chances, I think they should master a smaller number of foods.
Used to go here quite often, but now a cup of black coffee is over 4 bucks. The last two times the coffee was filled with grounds too. Better off going to a gas station for regular coffee than here. Also previously, Ive ordered an ice black coffee and they charged me nearly $7, the price of a specialty cold brew. It seems as if they are trying to upcharge customers
I've only gotten the food from there and was sorely dissapointed in the quality for the price. The panini I got (the chicken tandoori) was tiny, had barely any chicken, vegetables, or toppings for $13 ! They went wild with the tamarind, it was like eating a sour patch kids in my sandwich. My friend got a bowl that was a similar price to an Honest Mary's bowl but way less toppings and flavor. I didn't give 1 star because I haven't tried there coffee. Probably won't go back for food that's for sure. Also got there dessert Calsone and it's raw dough in the middle. The filling is good but it doesn't take a genius to mix Nutella and fruit.
