This apartment complex has the worse management, they are very rude and the employees change like clothes. I moved there in Sep 2019 drove from Boston and requested for them to live the door lock open because we were arriving by 8pm and they said no. Our water bill doubled in a month and they didn't explain why. Went to the office gave my 60 days notice but didn't get any paperwork, sent them an email 30 day moving out notice in the office email but they couldn't find had to print and resend to them. They said that I didn't give them a 60 day notice right in my face. Make sure to get all your notice in writing otherwise they will charge you. They took me to collection. Ridiculous.... And the worse they are very rude. Think very serious before moving there..... I went to the office and nothing happened. They are funny to don't say anything else....
Such a gem! I've been here for almost 2 full lease terms, and this property has only gotten better since I moved in. The value in what you get here is incredible... Every attached retail store/restaurant is amazing (and they just added a new coffee shop to existing selection of sushi and Thai food), floorplans are spacious and unique, the pool is gorgeous and never overcrowded, the gym was more than enough to cancel my gym membership, but most of all this property management team LISTENS and RESPONDS to their residents and are truly advocates for their experience here. You can't find that anywhere in Austin. If I had to critique something, sometimes it takes a couple calls to get through to someone at the office, but that's literally every property in Austin due to the constant bombardment of calls from prospective renters, and with Artisans rent rates being better they get a lot of that traffic.
Initial move in - they paint over everything. There isn't any actual cleaning done. We had pieces of paint falling into our dishes inside the cupboards.Management and staff in the office are not on the same page and give different answers per email. When moving out and finalizing, their response was "Oh, well, I think that's it I guess." You guess? Shouldn't you know???Happy to be out of here. Not a great experience. Unfortunate because the area looks great with the little shops all around, but this place is not worth the money or the stress.
Been here for two months...1. They sent me the wrong move-in date and I had to get a hotel for the night since I was moving here from out of town. I showed them the paperwork with the date, and they just apologized and said I'd have to come back tomorrow.2. I've had two maintenance tickets open since I moved in with no reply.3. A third ticket was closed after being told that they can't fix my upstairs blinds. Blinds that I cannot close and that allow people across the street to see into my bedroom.4. Ironically, a fourth ticket was closed after being told they couldn't fix my downstairs blinds that won't OPEN.5. Horrible shower water pressure and hot water. I was told "the pipes just have buildup in them and there's nothing that can be done."6. The gym is in disrepair with one of the machines having a broken cable for over a month (a ticket is open for this as well).7. There's a surprising lack of polish throughout the apartment (cobwebs on a ceiling lamp that's too high for me to reach, a crack in the bathroom door they told me was fine, a stain that was painted over on a prominent wall that you can still see, etc.)I can't wait to move out and I have 10 more months to go.EDIT: In an effort to clarify their reply to this review, I did speak with them about every issue listed above. Nothing has been fixed. I'll be sure to update this review if anything changes.
There is no parking!!! Be prepared to have to walk. Maintenance is a joke. They took over two weeks to even address the request. Once they did come there was no work done. Nice area which is why there are two stars.
The apartment has been relatively quiet, and I love the area. The rooms are a good size and there's plenty of storage. The office has been kind, and somewhat responsive. That said, I have had a leak for the last two months in my apartment that they have been unable to repair thus far. They've come out to look at it several times, but no actual repair work has been done.If it is not resolved by the time my lease is up for renewal, I will be asking to move units at the least.
I've lived here for slightly under a year, and I've already had multiple issues with the apartment. For example my patio door does not close at all and the ac does not work in the guest bedroom. I've called many times about the problems, and they always say they'll send someone out, however it never gets done. This is a matter of safety as anyone could walk into my apartment at any time. Stay away from this place. You'll be doing yourself a favor.Edit: I cannot stress enough how important it is not to live here. This complex just sent me an offer to renew, and they want to raise my rent 300 more than it is right now. After all the issues they've caused me. I've been the perfect tenant this whole time. I've never failed to pay rent on time. I keep the place clean. Don't even have pets.Do NOT move here.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!During the winter storm (February) the pipes in our building burst, which is fine (they can’t control that)! Due to the water damage, mold started growing on our ceiling (along with other residents) and despite our calls it was only fixed months afterwards. Some people waited up to 5 months for them to properly fix the mold growing in their apartment. Also they don’t have enough parking for their residents so you have to pay for a covered spot or garage if you want to have a place to park. They are unresponsive, rude, and unprofessional. I called about the parking issue and was hung up on….
Everything good except the neighbor air conditioner noise. Sometimes there's a lot of noise coming from upstairs. You can hear big noise coming from upstairs a lot. Sometimes there are vehicles playing loud music - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
My boyfriend, myself, and our cat moved in a couple months ago, and so far I have never lived anywhere better!!! Our last apartment was miserable due to mismanagement. Thank you for making us feel at home. S/o to Desi for being such a bliss to work with! We couldn’t be happier.
