My momma loves this place so we decided to try out the Austin location to add to her list, she says lol We waited about 40 minutes and I got a drink while I waited which was nice. Everything came out great and there was plenty of food to eat. Coffee was delicious as always. Our waitress busted her butt and she was great.
Delicious
The Service was excellent the manager came over and greeted us at our table this was my first time there and it was excellent good food it was AWESOME
This location was awesome. We went for brunch and everything was delicious. I ordered the hash brown Benedict and my friend had the skinny omelet. We ended with the beignets. We were full and happy. The service was also great. I would recommend this location.
Really nice brunch place in north Austin. Food is great. Loved the omelette! I am not giving 5 just for the service being slow because its super busy and super noisy. Outside seating is an option if you prefer it quieter.
So happy to have a delicious breakfast spot in the neighborhood. Food is top notch and the menu has so much to choose from. The Bloody Mary and Mimosa was delicious too. Our server was attentive and super nice. Can’t wait to try something new next time I’m there!
My daughter, my husband and myself went to get something to eat from here after a doctor's appointment. It being our second time I love the food, it's so well prepared and the staff are so warm and welcoming. I want to say a special thank you to Elaina who was our waitress and served us with a smile from start to finish. Thank you for making our dining experience so enjoyable ?.
Everything was okay and that is the best way to say it everything was Okay, at the prices I would expect it to be better than okay. None of the dishes were outstanding, nothing was bad but not exceptional either. Coffee was ok, eggs benidict was ok, hollandaise was ok but scarce, it was very light coat over the poached eggs. If you are looking for decent food yes this is the place if you are looking for exceptional keep going.
Well me and my husband went on a Sunday, and it looked pretty full so we decided to order breakfast online on a Monday (this was the very first time we ever ordered here.) and well.. we had to wait 10 mins more for the meal to come to us. But that wasn’t such a big deal. When my husband got home with the meal; I didn’t expect the order I received. My meal was the biscuits and gravy, sausage, egg and grits.. I didn’t like the taste of the sausage; very much a homemade recipe and the spices where a bit much. The gravy looked more like a paste and not gravy.I’ve never seen country gravy in that form before. So I called and ask if I can exchange my meal; and unfortunately I couldn’t; since the meal came out correctly and it was just my preference that had been an issue Which was understandable. And I accepted that. For my husbands meal; he’d ordered a buttermilk pancakes breakfast; and his pancakes came with some chocolate on them; which he does have an allergy to chocolate. the menu did not specify that someone must inform the restaurant of any allergy. So if had he eaten the food unbeknownst of the chocolate it would have caused some medical problems on his end. So we’d also informed the person who answered the phone of this issue as well, which they kind of brushed it off and said that there was nothing to be done about that. Which definitely irritated my husband and at this point we had to get a manager involved and get refunded the pancakes cause that portion of the meal could not be touched. Now the reason I gave this place 3 stars; instead of 1 was because the manger involved was very genuine and understandable to my husbands situation. he informed us of the polices that was in place here and still refunded us for the inconvenience of the pancakes and was polite the entire time. Needless to say this will be the first and last time we order from this restaurant simply because the food was not up to par and the wait staff who answered the phone to help us was not really caring of the situation at hand, and I felt like the issue could’ve been dealt with better than it was for us being first time customers.
This place has a really neat ambiance and a great menu layout. However the taste was a total for me. O ordered the Eggs Blackstone Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was pale and bland. I asked of the potatoes were fresh or frozen and one server said one thing and another server said another (I am fairly certain they are frozen. Which is not a deal breaker. but if I had been given accurate information by own server then i would have ordered a different side). The bacon had a slightly burnt flavor to it. Their sausage patties were handmade (the rough shape gave that away) but the spices were much too overwhelming and overpowering for a traditional breakfast sausage patty. The coffee was fresh and delicious. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't amazing. Due to it's average-neaa and misses on flavor, I wouldn't frequent/suggest another visit for the only thing that was done well: the coffee.
