If you’re going to insist that you’re a 21+ establishment, there should be signage on and in your store, security checking IDs, and that info should be stated on your website and your Google business page. The band we were going to see even checked ahead of time with this venue to make sure that everyone in our party could come. Not to mention the 20 year old that got hassled had her mother with her to see one of their favorite bands together and there was someone with an actual child sitting in the bar.I’m very understanding to how rough being a bartender is and how strict bartenders need to be to cover themselves and the bar. However, there is absolutely no reason for the bartender to say “I’m not calling you a bad mother” when no one has said anything about anyone being a bad mother, nor to be so condescending to our entire group. After she told us we could stay until a certain time and making the bad mother statement, the bartender then started berating our mother for not making eye contact with her and calling our mother rude for it, making sure to seriously anger all four of her kids. When people are anxious because you’re causing a scene and insinuating that they’re a bad mother in public in front of their kid’s friends, they may not want to look at you in order to keep their composure. Maybe instead of being condescending and escalating the situation, you could just stop talking and instead end it at the resolution that we had already all agreed to? She wanted to have problems.
First time here and it was amazing. Went to go see immortalz and they rocked the place. Definitely going back again.
I really like this bar. It's a great local, dive bar that hosts really cool nights. I've seen a few bands there that I really enjoyed, and they do comedy nights. It's overall a cool vibe, and it's very convenient if you live in the area. Also, the staff there are amazing.
Bands! The stage here is HUUUUGE, sound guy is awesome and super friendly. Attractive bartenders, oversized Jenga, oversized Connect 4, sporty mcsportsball on multiple teeveeees, even some little gambling games too! Ample parking, it's miles away from the insanity of 6th street... What more do you waant?
Top notch music, clientele and atmosphere...I danced to JAZZ FUSION last time I was there...
