One of the best ice-cream that I’ve tasted ever since I moved to Austin. I had a Belgium chocolate Ice-cream with some nuts as smashed toppings and it was very delicious.

Given I walked in 12 min before close (3 young girls were working). No one greeted me at all, they just stared at me. I apologized for my late walk in. No one asked me what I would list I order. So I took it upon myself and ordered a simple ice cream (Mexican vanilla).. still no one said a word to me. Even when I went to pay, she didn’t even tell me how much. Even as I tipped them, and started to walk out, no actual acknowledgment or words at all… I looked at them and told them have a good night. Then 1 girl said under her breathe. You too…I get it late walk in but still you’re not closed. Just be polite and greet me with normal customer service, or acknowledge me like a human being.
Omg this place is so filthy! Flies everywhere, stains and grudge all over the walls. Then when you come up to order your ice cream the mixing table they use for the toppings was not clean at all! So if you ordered a mix in topping better not be surprised if you get random toppings inside your ice cream. Then I saw the girl just dunk the customer’s ice cream in front of me directly into the sprinkles instead of using a spoon or something to sprinkle it on top. Seems like just laziness all around. And it’s really reflected in the look of the whole shop. The ice cream was good but kinda made you feel gross eating it.
Milk shakes are the best here. Get an Amy's frequent flyer shake card. After 10 shakes, the next is free!

Usually look forward to coming here, but location has gone downhill since last visit. Employees seemed annoyed we were there and didn't even mix in the "mix ins" which is the whole point. They simply put the toppings on top of the ice cream and gave it to us. Dude I can do that at home. Disappointed and won't be back.
I had a great experience at Amys! I ordered the belgian chocolate with marshmellos and mixed nuts, just like a rocky road! Lo was super sweet and made me feel like it was 2010 Amys!
We had delicious ice cream and the staff was super nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place ; an iconic ice cream shop in Austin. Please try the Mexican Vanilla!
Their Oreo ice cream is the best!! And of course their Mexican vanilla is a classic. The TMNT and Squirtle are great combos
