We have been coming here since 2009. Never a disappointment with the choice Amy’s ice cream offers. Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. My favorite is Mexican vanilla!
Creamy delicous ice cream! The mexican vanilla is definitely the best. Amy’s never disappoints! Love the staff and the area (newly renovated). Always a hit.
Ice cream, for the wealthy only. Yes, you can get a range of delicious ice creams. For those with a family, bring your money with you!. The smallest serving cup, will set you back $6.50 with a topping. - Enjoy
After leaving Lake Travis and eating at The Oasis (where the service and food was lacking) we opted to eat dessert here instead of at The Oasis and the staff was super friendly, helpful and enthusiastic! They engaged with our young kiddos and made their day while making them sundaes. They were wearing fun hats and having a good time (not like the staff at The Oasis who were socializing and ignoring staff). It's crazy because I'm sure the staff was paid half of what the staff at The Oasis are paid and they genuinely loved their jobs and how to represent the brand well.
Super friendly staff. Prices are decent. I only wish there were more flavors to choose. I didn’t find the ice cream to be anything super special, but the portions are very generous.
Amy’s ice cream is delicious! This location has been renovated too with good seating inside and outside
Grateful for vegan options since my husband can't do lactose. ? I got the sweet cream milkshake and added cookie dough, and my husband got a Mexican vanilla shake with strawberries. Both were good but I liked mine more ? they have patient and friendly staff who just keep moving and smiling despite long lines of people awaiting delicious treats. ☺️
I’m not a huge Amy’s Ice Cream fan and I know I’m in the minority. I like it, but I’m not a huge toppings mixed in my ice cream guy, and that’s their thing. Everyone else LOVES Amy’s - so don’t let my review keep you from trying it - I’m sure you’ll love it too! I think it’s a little pricey as well, but that makes sense since I’m not a toppings guy! Anyway, this location is new from when I was in Austin years ago - just across the street, very nice, clean and friendly staff. The picture is mint chocolate chip ice cream with crushed Oreos and marshmallows. Ya, too much going on in there for me - and for $9 I could have had a gallon of Blue Bell.
No dining indoors because of Covid. Did not appreciate having to eat in my car because outdoor seating was too cold. They need a salted caramel flavored ice cream! The staff was very friendly. The Mocha Heath ice cream was good.
The original location of Amy’s Ice Creams could be considered a pilgrimage site. Despite expanding locations and cities, Amy’s maintains the consistently and quality. The flavors rotate and they’re happy to offer samples, so be adventurous! The Zilker Mint Chip is always a good bet (add Oreos!). It’s very hard to go wrong here. A true Texas original that’s absolutely worth a visit!
