Disgusting taste, 0 quality and worst customer service. I dont expect anyting but atleast he could hand me my order in a good way. They act like they give away their food, but nah bro you charge me over +11$ for worst wrap. never again

This is my go-to place when I'm tipsy and need food to fill my belly. Order the shawarma arabi and fries and you won't be disappointed! I've probably had it 6 times and it always smacks. The fries are hit-or-miss, though; sometimes they're really good and flavored and other times they're kinda bland. But the shawarma! Bussin'.

i go to abu omar at least once a week. the service is always friendly even as faces have changed over the past 3 years i’ve lived next to them. the food is always delicious though the fries have changed at least 4 times, i assume due to supply. i usually get a chicken arabi though i have tried nearly everything on the menu. the portions are always generous and the white sauce is delicious. the chicken arabi i ordered below comes with fries, pickled vegetables, and white sauce. you can’t see any of it due to the very generous portion of fries he gave me.

Abu Omar Halal is my go-to place if I want a quick late night meal or a quick lunch on a busy day. I usually rotate between the Arabic-style chicken shawarma and the zinger (fried-chicken and cheese wrapped in a tortilla). Their baklava is to die for! I could eat a whole batch if not for the calories. Overall, my experience has been very positive. My meals have been consistent and tasty. The service is great and the employees are extremely friendly.I have seen some nasty reviews and I urge people to be more understanding and patient, especially if there is only 1 employee working at certain times. As you can see, Abu Omar Halal is very open to feedback. So again, please be kind.

Waiting online for 10-20 mins to pick up an order that was ready an hour ago! 25$ 1 hour later no food. One poor guy inside moving at sloth pace. Extremely Sad and un organized.

A few problems with this place.First, I have heard from multiple people that the owner takes the tip of the employees, which is unacceptable.Second, I have ordered the Chicken Italian Shawarma and it feels like eating grease and has very poor flavor. I have eaten the same shawarma at other Abu Omar locations in Houston and they always taste great.Although, the employees are very friendly.

I called more than 10 times , they didn’t answer the phone. After I came 2 customer front of me waiting to the cashier. I asked them is there someone inside they were waiting for . They didn’t know. Then I asked their neighbor truck . They checked it . Cashier was slept .

I don’t know who read this but I want to advice anyone from this food truck. I place my order to get Italian shawarma then I left to drive to Buda I found my sandwich empty just white sauce and pickles no American cheese no fries no meat and I asked him did you make it good he said yes with double meat .This not first time or second or third this more than 4 times .They have bad service cheaters lyres and crooks.

Love the food, love the service and the portions. This bearded day time dude, I think he’s name is A’amer is pretty cool guy ?? Keep it up

It took so much time to prepare, the guy did not speak English and did not understand that I had been waiting for so long, but I already paid. I wanted my money back but since he did not understand, he did not do that either. Plus, the taste of the food is bad as well (from my earlier experience).
