Local ingredients and super high quality service and food. We ordered fries, hot chocolate, the small chicken and waffles, and cereal crusted French toast. We are both picky eaters and this was incredible. Our server also made us an iced coffee with coconut milk and homemade caramel syrup and OH MY GOSH. INSANELY good. DEFINITELY will be back!

Easy parking, friendly staff, came at a good time and was able to sit right away. They have a patio as well. We started off with some bloody's and why not. The biscuits and gravy were very good, and the chicken & waffles were even better. We also tried the corn fritters, and I highly recommend. They were light and fluffy with the right amount of heat. I would absolutely return when back in Austin.
I've eaten here twice and haven't been disappointed. We had a very long wait for a weekend afternoon even though not all of the seats were being used. The food is worth the wait though.
I had not been to 24 Diner in years and it’s still delicious. Egg sandwich, eggs and bacon plate, chicken biscuit, cinnamon roll and mimosas. Everything is always so good!
I thought the food and service was meh because waitress forgot our simple coffee order and we had to wait a long time to flag her down as she was doing nothing. The biscuit and waffles were undercooked and dry. The chicken was all right and nothing special. I think they could have done better with the seasoning but then again it's a diner. And we're just thankful that we had a place to go that was open on Christmas Day. So I don't think I would come back but it is an option when everything else is closed..
First time here. The food was great!! I had the waffle breakfast and my wife had the small chicken and waffles. The waffles were the BEST and the chicken was nice and crispy and well seasoned. Can't wait to go back. When you're in Austin, this is the place to go.
Great food and cool place. Service was a bit slow. Our food was delivered to another table first and no coffee refills/checks. Believe they were short staffed, but still affects experience.
May be a good idea to let your guest know if you are out of an item they ordered before the entire table is done eating their food. I waited thinking it was just taking too long. Apparently the item isn't even offered anymore.
