We came in to the restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and was promptly greeted by Bob. He immediately knew we had not been there before, and he walked us through the full menu. We ordered and he was kind enough to bring a few samplings of various things for us to try at the table. Everything we ate packed a flavorful punch! We've already been back several times since and ordered something different each time. The food is consistently incredible, the staff is amazing and Bob made our experience the best. The best catfish and BBQ in the area!
I ordered the Loaded Brisket Cornbread and a couple pieces of fish. When I tell you the Loaded Brisket Cornbread was phenomenal!!! Whew! It was better than I imagined. The fish was good, but cooked a little harder than I prefer. I would order it again though. It was pretty busy and understandably so, great food! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I guess the guy was the owner or manager and he was hollering at the waitress for everyone to hear. I do understand why he was upset, but I don’t feel like it was a good idea to embarrass her in front of the customers. She was visibly embarrassed and I felt sorry for her. There is a time and place for counseling and in front of customers is not it. Other than that the food was great and the restaurant was clean and nice size to enjoy your meal.
Staff was friendly, food was good. Hubby said brisket was juicy and tender but could have used little more seasoning. Greens favor was on point could have been cooked just lil longer. Everything perfectly prepared.

This is the only place I will eat catfish. Crispy, well seasoned, and delicious. Stuffed seafood cornbread is a treat. Friendly owner, staff is attentive. Food is on point.
They offered large portions and the food was good, the only complaint from my group was that the food could have been hotter,when delivered to the table
First time trying this place, I really wanted some good fried catfish. Too bad I didn’t get real catfish instead they served SWAI and I’m not a fan of it at all! The lemon pepper wings were over cooked side item I chose was the collard greens welp I had more pot liquor than greens and they had too much vinegar. The last item I chose was the brisket sandwich because I could smell the smokiness of the barbecue upon entering in the restaurant. Brisket sandwich wasn’t too bad and that’s why they get to stars from me. The staff was nice and friendly oh and if you pay with a card they charge you using a card so have cash! After the taste test I trashed everything except for the brisket sandwich .
Absolutely loved the food, service and location! They were out of a few things, but that's ok we will definitely be back! JJ is one of the kindest souls to be a part of this team. Highly recommended for both BBQ and Seafood.
The catfish was good. The cornbread although too sweet was good. The greens had too many stems. I think the hushpuppies could have been crisper.Will try the wings next time.
It’s worth every dime and the food and customer service was awesome
