The hostess at this location - the short petite skinny girl with very long hair - is always rude every time we visit. She always fails to accommodate our seating requests - she seems to be on some type of bossy power trip. We go to this restaurant often - and given that our bill is typically over $300 for a family of 4 - we expect to be greeted politely and accommodated when possible. We asked to sit in the tables with the club chairs in the lounge - which were open when it was our turn to be seated - but she put us in the dungeon in the very back of the restaurant where the curtains were hung. It was very loud and claustrophobic. Additionally - our salads were hot, we had no silverware when they reached the table, the drinks werenât refilled promptly and the food was only ok. For $325 we will think twice before visiting again.
Fantastic!

35th Anniversary
Excellent food. Our server got two of the food orders wrong, we order lobster tail and sirloin and got 1/2 lobster insead,
We have eaten @ The Keg for years! This was our 49th Anniversary dinner celebration. This undoubtedly was the best experience here ever from Hostess, Brian the Server, the cook & hospitality of complimentary Billy Miner pieâ¦Everything was delicious! The crusted salmon cooked to perfection, large portions, & we learned a new term, as well! My husband loves rare steak, usually the term âblueâ is used, but âChicagoâ was the best tasting filet ever. Cooked over flame & charred & flippedâ¦.inside is blue. He loved it! I usually enjoy my steaks medium rare, but took a bite of his! OMGâ¦.best tasting steak Iâve ever had ANYWHERE!!!! Thanks to The Keg staff for an enjoyable & memorable Anniversary!!!ðâ¼ï¸â¤ï¸ Jan & Tom B.
The tuna tartare appetizer, the wedge salad and the sirloin were all delicious! The waiter was great too!
The service was excellent as was the food. This will continue to be one of my "go to" places to celebrate special occasions.
The server was very lethargic, very slow and looked like she did not know what she was doing. We waited for about an hour for my salad and when I asked for it, she responded, oh, ok I'll get it. She would walk past our table without saying a word and kept rolling her eyes. She would whisper and sounded like she was talking to a kid. Her voice needs to be high and clear to be able communicate effectively with customers. She looked like she did not want to be there at all.
Our regular place and never disappoints!! Keep up the good work
