This course was worth every penny and so much more. I can now confidently open my mobile coffee shop. The classes teaches more than you could hope for and leaves you prepared. I went in feeling lost, not knowing where to start with everything. Since the school, I am moving forward and making decisions easier and I'm confident in the direction I'm heading. Taking the class can help avoid costly mistakes. It's a smart investment.
Highly recommend! I am creating an offering where coffee is a component, but not the main offering. After asking around, I still heard that going to TCS would be worth my while. It blew me away. I felt so excited after class everyday, based on new understandings and ideas. Anna was my teacher and she was spectacular. It was a very validating and inspiring experience to go and learn from them first-hand. I can't recommend enough. And to boot, I now have a cohort/community of other entrepreneurs navigating their businesses as well.
This review is WAY over due. I attended the Texas Coffee School in March of 2021 for the 2-day Barista Training Class. It was absolutely AMAZING. The amount of hands-on training and assistance from the instructor was immensely beneficial. I would definitely recommend attending this or any other class that you may be thinking about. I opened a coffee truck with the knowledge and skills obtained from the Texas Coffee School.
If you are thinking of opening any kind of coffee business, do yourself a favor and attend the Texas Coffee School 3 day Master class. This is hands down the most professional, informative training class I've attended (and I've attended a lot of training classes). Add to that a staff that is not only smart and experienced, they're sassy and fun! I loved walking in to the class every morning to a smiling face and cup of freshly brewed awesome coffee. The information and training I received here helped me secure my employer's approval to convert a non performing cafe in to a coffee shop. You'll walk away with every resource you need to get started on your coffee journey. Now, if only I could convince my employer to send me back......haha!
Tom and the crew gave me everything I needed to be confident adding high end coffee to the menu of my existing offering. The training was highly tactile and practical. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering getting into this business to make the investment in this education before you do anything else.
The BEST decision ever! My dad and I attended the 3 day course. We left knowing more about coffee and so much more than we ever thought possible. Nothing was left out for us to wonder about in the end. It was the best learning experience and we were able to make great memories too! I would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. Attending Texas Coffee school was something I wanted for a long time, so when my job offered to send me, I snatched up the opportunity and enrolled immediately. Tom, Anna, and Megan have so much knowledge of the industry and what it takes to open a shop of your own. I felt so welcomed and our class quickly made friends with each other. Each segment of the course was broken up really well to avoid burnout, but contained so much useful information. The barista and milk training was fun, but the meat of the course is the business information. Tom knows so so much about this business. They also provided all the documents and details to back it up. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in opening a coffee business of any kind.
