Over many years this place has changed, with good flavor and customer service. I can say good things and not so good things. One of my disappointments is there isn't any more carne guisada tacos, that was one of my favorites. The rice is usually raw, the orders for the most part are usually incorrect or just missing something. The only reason I like to go is for the steak fajita tacos and the tortillas. I don't stop going for those two reasons but that's about it. Oh the bean and cheese tacos are good to.
This is the only Taco Cabana within 15 miles + of my home, so it’s the closest to me. We were not pleased with this particular visit. The rice on my taco salad was undercooked, so it was hard. The chips on my husbands chicken nachos were so salty, he couldn’t finish so to the trash they went. My daughters chips for her nachos were burnt, the only redeeming item was the margaritas! It will be awhile before we go back to this location. ?
Wow. Just wow.1. They didn't even ID my brother who bought alcohol.2. They screwed up our order so badly that we took the food back immediately and asked for a refund.Workers there clearly need to learn to clean their ears and listen to the order and make sure they ID patrons for alcohol.Just wait until TBAC comes in for an undercover sting and they fail it.
I ordered the 3pack chicken flautas and they were old. They only put 2 flautas in my box & when I drove back around, they put an uncooked fluata in my box. Please do better…
Service is most likely not good, food isn't all there, very slow( i have bern told at times it will be 2 hours before o can take your order. This use to be my favorite place to eat but its now hard for them to get your order right. I know have to drive to the one on Little Road
If you do deliveries avoid this place. I showed up and no one was even in the kitchen working on the order. Only 2 customers in the lobby and no one in drive through. There was four people there and none of them were working on the order. After 20 mins the customer canceled the order and I ended up wasting my time.
In the past Taco Cabana has always my goto especially when travelling in Central Texas. But covid has really created a Service that is far below what it use to be. Ķitchen area seems to always be in dissaray. How it gets better.
They were so rude to me from the moment they took my order to the moment the young girl gave me my food. My order was wrong, Not hot sauce was included and the food I was given was TERRIBLE..Do better
went with my mom and we were so disappointed. the young worker rushed us as well even with no line :/ food was dry, burnt, and our tortillas were old.
Go to another one if you can. They more often than not get my order wrong. I ask for chorizo and egg but then they give me bean and cheese. They also frequently give me incomplete orders. I as for a steak fajita taco plate then they often forget to give me the additional tortillas and guacamole.
