Star India is my favorite place to eat in Arlington. I’ve been coming here for years, my husband introduced me to this restaurant. (He’s Indian) I love the buffet, sucks it’s only weekend now. It has the simplest buffet items but it’s so worth it. My favorite is the palak paneer! I’m so in love with it! I’d rate this place higher if I could.

Awful buffet ..Snacks - pakora was hard and samosa was also frozen n of low quality ..haldiram/deep frozen should haven been better .Shrimp chilli was ok but chicken tandoori had loads of red color .Salad - chutney - just averageMain course -chicken tikka, Chole and aloo gobhi was bad .Shrimp biriyani & plain rice average .Bread - only nan were there Lamb kofta was good .Dessert- kheer - okie , gulab jamun was cold n seems out of a can ..ew , cookie was fine .Custard was plain n no fruit or nuts .One shouldn’t visit for buffet ., absolute NOO! No taste and limited variety ??

Been coming to eat here for YEARS with my parents. Hands down BEST Indian restaurant i’ve been too. Definitely stop by and give it a taste you will enjoy!

Decent buffet restaurant with varieties of veg and non-veg curries and appetizers, staff was courteous and the place was somewhat quiet so I was able to enjoy having lunch.

I got paneer kulcha with daal makhni. Fulfilled all my carb desires. ? Buffet was closed though.

Place needs to be upgraded, you'll get some weird odor on entering and overall it looks shabby with less maintenance. The food was just okay taste wise, not consistent - depending more on which item you are ordering. Donno how fresh they were because I threw up twice at night after having dinner from there (Considering the fact that I haven't puked anytime in the past 4-5 years probably). The staff was polite, even though she didn't ask us if we needed anything more and wasn't visible around once the food was already served. After paying initially we weren't given a physical copy of the bill, however on insisting we got the individual items scribbled on a piece of paper with the total amount written unprofessionally. The place honestly needs a big revamp inside out. Not going there anytime soon even if they're offering food for free, period!

The food was awesome. We came for the buffet and we were not disappointed. My wife had never had Indian cuisine before and now she is hooked.

When I entered, I immediately noticed the bland decor of the place. I saw a mini buffet set up at the entrance. We used all paper plates and plastic silverware instead of the regular silverware and plates you’d use at other restaurants. You have to ask for something other than water. The staff was courteous but not very attentive as she only came to the table once during my entire outing. The place would greatly benefit from some updates! The food wasn’t bad but I won’t be returning any time soon.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants! I go here all the time for lunch.

My fav is the Pakoras, they are delicious and forfilling.
