Splendid China is a more than splendid Chinese restaurant. Very lovely family run place with a good amount of seating area. The food is cooked very fresh and clean and honestly can’t get any better. The egg rolls are to die for. The service is usually fairly quick and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for Chinese
I love this place! Been my favorite for Chinese food for years.The lunch specials are great! Lots of choices, big portions, plus soup and an egg roll, all for a very reasonable price.And it's all cooked to order.(The photo is of the lemon chicken. Yum.)Check it out!
I must say really delicious Mongolian beef! I decided to add jumbo shrimp & I’ve gone to others and has their own but Splendid has this beef , which is tender and moist I thought it was superb. Don’t go by the looks until you’ve tried & eaten it. Her cooking real Chinese! Thank you
In the 25 or so years we've been going, the menu has never changed and the food has always been miles above any other restaurant like it. Still operated by the same folks in all that time. No matter how far i stray from home, this food always reminds me of family and i have to have it when i come back.
What a great place for a family meal! We have enjoyed many different items from Splendid China & have really enjoyed everything. The orange chicken, sesame chicken, beef lo mein, happy family, dumplings, are all very good. My new favorite is now the chicken, beef, & shrimp teriyaki. Dinner portions are generous. Just fresh, great flavor & delicious!! Delivery always arrives early too! Super convenient location for us, but honestly is worth the drive too. Thanks so much for being consistently great!
One of the best places for Chinese food in Arlington. Super fast, really good, friendly staff and nice price. I enjoy their Orange chicken which has a little heat to it.
First time here. Was not impressed. Pork fried rice was plentiful with plenty of pork but hardly fried and without flavor. Worst we have ever had. The honey chicken wings were good. The wontons in the wonton soup were mush and falling apart flavor of the soup was bland as well. Also the worst we have ever had. The egg rolls were good. The egg drop soup was bland as well but had nice chunks of egg. I was really hoping to like this place since we like chineese food and just moved to the area but sadly we won't be back. If you go, I can only recommend the honey chicken and the egg rolls. They were good but not great.

Was looking around for some good Chinese food and I found this place, it had good reviews and the food look good but after I got my food and took it to go I come to find a roach in my plate. Never coming here again.
1st time customer. Beef low mein taste great. Also generous portion compare to panda express or pei wei. ?
