First visit- The Chicken Fried Steak was fork tender and delicious according to hubby. My Country Burger was amazing. Fries were also very good. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty! Bree was a great server. Thank you for a first rate first experience here!
I had the ribeye steak and eggs and it was the best I've had in a good while. Service was great and very friendly as well. Definitely our new Saturday breakfast spot!
I think this is a hidden gem in this area. I've passed it so many times and never knew it was there. Wife and I had lunch while doing some errands last Friday. She had a salmon salad, which was huge, and I had the chicken fried steak. Everything came in large portions and was very good. We will be returning for sure.
Awesome place, very welcoming staff! They got a great selection of menu items. Best part is they aren't crazy busy, like other places are on weekends, especially Sunday afternoons.
Had the pork chops for dinner, a happening place! Full bar and excellent food. Neat history on the building. I would be a once a month regular but am on opposite side of town. Definitely worth the trip!
I could eat lunch at this place every day & it would never get old. They have amazing home cooked food! I've had about everything on the menu, but my favorites are their beef vegetable soup (so good!), chopped steak (blackened), grilled chicken breasts, and of course the chicken fried steak!They have a healthy amount of sides to choose from and rolls and cornbread. The portions are great.The most important thing, along with the food, is the staff - they're all so nice, they greet you and provide excellent service. The food is always hot, always fresh, and in all the years I've been going here I've never had a bad plate or any reason to send anything back for correction. They are *very* consistent!It's a hidden gem of spot and I highly recommend it!
We went in around 3pm and just missed the lunch specials but they have very reasonable prices so it wasnt a big deal. The food and service was really good. They also have a great happy hour!!! Looking forward to going back.

Service was slow at first then she around more often. We ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, corn, fries and corn bread and a cheese burger with fries.The food came out quickly, well portioned and hot. I had to take a star off because their side salad is a bad joke (see photo) and there isn't any mac & cheese on the menu. :(A good meal overall, Thank you SRG!

I honestly wouldn't go back unless it was convenient. Like I said, the staff were nice and the place was clean. Maybe something else on their menu is better. If you offer chicken-fried steak, I also think you should consider offering a couple more sides, possibly cheesy-broccoli-rice casserole and greens. I had a hard time rating this 3 stars because I really wanted to like it more because of the staff personalities, they all were smiling and friendly. Sorry y'all.
