First timer, order was a carryout scheduled for 7:30. It was ready at about 7:40, and they weren’t very busy, but “ok”, no worries, let’s see how the food is. Mac n cheese bites were very flavorful as an appetizer. There was thought put in to the batter and coating. Enjoyed them. Greens were average. I don’t need them to be salty (they weren’t), but I think they were just a hair above bland tasting. Catfish was seasoned well. Real fillets, and very tasty. I had a strawberry piña colada marg and it was satisfying. I would eat here again. Improvements could be made on order/wait time and the greens. There was a small discrepancy w/ listed price interpretation by staff, but it was easily rectified. Restaurant was spacious, staff was friendly, and it wasn’t very busy on a Friday evening for dinner.
The chicken and waffles are awesome!!! I'm not sure what they are doing to that waffle but it is delicious!!! The chicken is great too but that waffle.....smh!! My mom had the grilled shrimp and my brother had the catfish. Both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff was awesome, both kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back.
Nice place to dine if you’re looking for some comfort food. The customer service was also great and meal remind me of home. I’ll definitely visit again…
The food, drinks, & atmosphere was amazing. If you're in the Arlington, Mansfield area, you gotta check them out. You won't be disappointed.
The vibe and atmosphere was perfect. I chose Southern Eats to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation and they did not disappoint at all. Mark was so accommodating with everything I asked. He always responded within a timely manner when I had question while getting the details together. The staff was polite and accommodating as well. My guest and I left satisfied not one complaint. More importantly the graduate was very pleased with everything. Thank you to Mark and his staff we will definitely be back soon. If you are looking for some where with good food, nice staff and a relaxing atmosphere check out Southern Eats in Arlington.
Expensive for what you get, everything is priced separately plus an added 20% tip! Will not be back! I want to support but cannot at these prices.
This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere that’s about it. When you walk in the door they change 20% gratuity for anyone that dine in. The menu is very limited. They charge you for entree and sides separately. I ordered three wings and three sides with two drinks it cost $59 the food was over cooked and way over priced. This is a truly disappointment.
I can’t make this up. There was no let down. This might be the best food I’ve tasted in the dfw. It was finger licking good and the service was A1. I had the chicken fried chicken with Mac n cheese and collard greens. I will definitely be back.
Trash very small quantity of food for the price no flavor in the food tasted like everything was out of a can won’t ever be back
