Truly enjoyed this place. There many positives and I will list a few.- My waitress, Ty was amazing and she had my group laughing the entire time. Her food recommendations were perfect and she was quick to attend to our needs. I will visit again when I’m in the area, just to see her and enjoy a good dining experience.- The location is open until 2am. Major points for this!- The food is good and the portions are big. The prices compared to what I pay in California are unbeatable.Thank you, Ty for the experience! If you visit the Shell Shack, ask for her!
I just left the shell shack address 550 Lincoln square Arlington TX 76011... The service there was so amazing! I was greeted by a server named Latoya, Once she set me down I really didn't know what I wanted I told her what I had a taste for, And she showed me the menu and made a few suggestions... I then let her go ahead and choose my food and drink and it turned out wonderful... Latoya hit the nail straight on the head with the order That she had place for me. This company It's lucky to have her. Sorry no pictures I was too hungry to take one.
I did not like our experience here, which is unfortunate. We started off with calamari and the alligator, the calamari was overcooked and extremely hard to chew. The alligator as well. And I love alligator. ?We ordered snow crab boils the crab boil sauce was disgusting honestly, taste like your having a huge bite of the same seasoning. And the garlic butter was not garlic flavored AT ALL. ? I was disappointed. I sent back my crab for just plain crab which wasn't that great and our eggs were so overcooked that they had to consistency of rubber, and the 1/2 pound of shrimp was just silly honestly.. it was 8 and I kid u not 8 pieces of shrimp.. not to mention if we wanted our server we had to ask someone to grab him because he didn't even come back to check on us after replacing the crab with plain crab . He was more focused on the people at the bar and talking, which I'm sure is due to the fact that there was a 50.00 gratuity added to our check. So he figured ahh I'm already getting tipped I don't have to give good service. Last but not least the price was really high for what u get. I went to a place down the street called boiling tails the other day and got a pound of snow crab for 33.00 and it had more in it then the so called1 1/4 of crab for 43.00. I'm upset we chose to eat here and spend over 300.00 and not enjoy it and got ignored.
First time here! Our waitress Lexis was amazing! She went above and beyond serving us. The food was great, good music. Clean! Friendly customers.
Ordered a bowl of gumbo, but received a small container (like Dairy Queen uses to serve the gravy for their steak fingers) of some strange type of broth; there wasn't so much as a microscopic chunk of either meat or vegetable in their so-called "gumbo". Unfriendly, aloof manager said that is their "normal serving size" and refused to refund my money. I donated the "food" back to them and left. I understand times of inflation, but when one pays a premium price for a meal, one should get a meal. There's no excuse for this kind of greed - total ripoff.
The food was great, we had the Boil, with shrimp, sausage and boiled eggs.The drinks were amazing too!
My husband and I love this place ! They have the best shrimp and crab . We usually always bet the boil bags and they are always amazing! Tonight I tried the shrimp pasta and it was literally the best shrimp pasta I have ever had !
Sorry but no. Charged $2.25 for this small portion of overcooked rice. I’m so upset with myself driving the distance I did. Quality is. Big no! Not worth the money. Go to any other competitors such as Crawlin crab or Red Claw.
Good for the price. Just a quick stop to put something on our stomachs after the game. Not disappointed at all.
Yes sir...if you are in the Dallas/Arlington area...the Shell Shack is A Must Have! The seafood boil is number one! Love the great service & the drinks are flowing! 5 Stars
