Good food friendly service. Chicken shawarma was not as warm as it should be. Otherwise 5 stars.
This is a wonderful place run by wonderful people. How refreshing to be served by the proprietor and his wife with authentic food they cooked themselves. I cannot say enough good things about this Arlington gem. To the reviewer who left a 1-star review, my advice to you is to stick to reviewing places you have actually visited. Also the owners are not Lebanese (note the correct spelling).
Am speechless the food is amazing, i had beef shawarma sandwiches it was juicy and i had chicken platter that was the best chicken shawarma in all dfw. And the owner is so nice and organized.Thank you for making my day ?
We were in Arlington, diner time, starved, so we called and ordered chicken, nakanik, and beef shawarma. From the moment the owner picked up and took my order, I just had a feeling that food will be made with a touch of love and deliciousness in this place. I was not disappointed, the ingredients felt very fresh, and spices with sauces were very well balanced, to a point that they made me feel like I am a tourist in Lebanon or Greece. I could taste every ingredient, from the earthy to the spicy with an Ahh from every bite. I highly recommend this place for shawarma lovers to food adventurers, I just suddenly discovered my gem, my serendipity!!
I entered the restaurant and stood at the counter for four minutes (I counted) without anyone noticing me or speaking to me. There were two people behind the counter cooking and preparing orders mere feet from me. But no one greeted me or took my order. It was a quiet restaurant that didn’t seem to have much business, and maybe this is why.
I ordered the chicken shawarma plate it had humus, bread and rice. It was very filling. The rice was really good although I did not taste much flavor on the chicken. The food was not greasy. Very healthy. The place is very clean and nice looking. The service was very good and my food was ready quickly. I also ordered shawarma and those were delicious.
It was my first time there and for sure will not be the last. The food was so good and the owner was so friendly and respectful.. worth it to drive an hour to eat @ shawarma king ?
Love this place
Great food. Great service.
When measuring the regional articulations of the Mediterranean from the Middle East to this region (a lot), Shawarma King tops the list. The beef shawarma is very good. The interior has a beautiful setting, making a lovely gift to its owner Lebanon. For example, I decided to stay when I entered the elevator and knew how good the place was. Needless to say, it was absolutely spotless! I recommend this low 5 out of 5 restaurant!
