Good and ambience were fantastic. Piano was played while we dined. Ordered dinner of shrimp served on angel hair pasta and it was delicious.
On the recommendation of a friend, we wanted to eat at Piccolo Mondo Restaurant. We were not disappointed! The food was scrumptious and it was real Italian food. I had a Caesar Salad, Lasagna and tiramisu. My husband had Halibut which was one of the featured daily fish dishes, potatoes and green beans with a Caesar Salad. Everything was cooked just like we like it. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing with soft piano music played in the background by a talented musician. The wait staff was superb and kept our glasses full. We enjoyed our evening so much! We will return in the future.
We had a private room for our party of ten to celebrate my wife's Grandmother's one hundredth birthday. The service was excellent ! Plenty of friendly staff that took good care of us. Our main waiter "Carlos" was very on top of all details from hanging a birthday banner to giving us great service. The only reason I only gave nice Italian restaurant a four was because I was very disappointed in my lasagna. It tasted like it was a oremade frozen item. Not that good. I had some Olive garden lasagna a couple of days later that was better. I'm sure others in our party has a better food experience.
Found by way of Google search. So glad I tried them. The hostess was friendly. Fernando our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The stuffed mushrooms were yummy. My friend had the salmon, spinach and potatoes in a lemon butter sauce. I had spinach ravioli marinara. I tried both dishes and they were delicious. The salmon was succulent and the potatoes and sauce were amazing. I enjoyed the ravioli and the fresh Parmesan cheese was a nice addition. The fresh bread yummy and the minestrone soup was hearty. The dessert was amazing. Great ambiance and the service was amazing. I'll definitely visit again.
I planned to come for dinner. I called in advance to confirm if they had gluten free pasta available, which I successfully confirmed as true, but when I actually got to the restaurant my waiter flat out said that they didn't have gluten free pasta. So I asked him to check for me, just in case, and lo and behold they did have gluten free pasta. Imagine if I listened the first time.I wish the menu had more of a description for more dishes, I don't eat Italian too often, so I had to Google the titles of the dishes to get a feel for what they actually were. Also, there's no designated gluten free menu online or on site.I got the Gamberi alla Marinara, which came with an iceberg quality salad (if you know what I mean). When my entree came out, the shrimp was perfection, but the sauce was underwhelming as well as the portion of pasta. Not sure if it was worth the money or if I'll be coming back again. The atmosphere and the live music was nice.
Heard about this place from a few friends so I finally went out to this place to try it out. You have to look for it because the place blends into the surrounding and is easy to miss. But once you find it you'll be glad you did. The house red was excellent. Very smooth and delicious and not too expensive. Then I ordered the veal and spaghetti. It was pretty pricey but it was delicious. And they even had a live pianist on the night I went. I took a date there randomly because we were supposed to go somewhere else and those plans fell through last minute, but I'm glad we ended up here. We had a great time with good food.
Piccolo is old school Italian, with the same owner/co-founder, chefs, and waitstaff for the past 30+ years and recipes that came straight from Italy with one of the the original co-founders. Service is amazing, and the food incredibly consistent. Lasagna and chicken parm are always spot on, and fantastic seafood dishes too. Always a joy and treat to go there!
Love the authentic Italian dishes! Nice area where the restaurant is located. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff.
Will definitely be back. Went for dinner on a Friday night and was very surprised when I walked inside because you can’t see anything from outside. The ambience was great. Live music from a pianist and a saxophonist. Well set tables with fresh flowers and a lit candle. Service by our waiter was impeccable. The food was fresh and delicious. Wish we had room for dessert. It was truly an experience and I loved every bit of it!
Great food, great wine, and amazing service. This place is wonderful and our server Blake made it an experience to remember. We now live close by and will definitely make this our #1 choice for a memorable dining experience.
