Used to be THE SPOT.. but honestly.. and this is a little extra.. but it has been trash since 2015 after new management and changing the menu. We try it every now and then to see if y’all miraculously changed back but we’re always disappointed. Chicken is absolutely undercooked- and it’s totally different like a whole different brand/cut. The noodles are trash, no flavor and different than it used to be years ago.. but PF Changs also changed their noodles so I guess everyone’s noodles suck now??. It’s gone so far down the hill I don’t think there’s any coming back. What a shame. How can you mess up a simple chicken lo mein?
Today we had lunch, orange chicken and broccoli beef added shrimp. The food was very fresh! Thanks Manny!
Went to lunch on Mother's Day and admittedly it has been a while since I've dined in at Pei Wei. I don't have a problem with the food. Food was really good. But my first complaint would have to be is that they've gotten rid of their black tea. The black tea with a slice of Orange or something I've always looked forward to. For dine-in the food was served in cardboard and plastic containers with plastic cutlery. Even when I picked up and the food was in the plastic or cardboard containers I always put them onto a standard plate. Just feel their food is good enough it merits that type of a presentation. The customer service was not ideal at all. All in all very disappointed.
Waited 30 minutes. With my 90 year old Mother. Others that came in after us were served before us! They could not be bothered to get her a hot water. I went to the manager twice - was told your next in line but waited an additional 10 minutes. We ordered 2 dinnersUpdate. It took a 42 minutes for food delivery. The reply says contact you BUT the form to do that requiresMy phone, email AND home address. REALLY.? No thanks
I have been going to this particular pei wei for about 12 years and it use to be my favorite restaurant. Now it is so disappointing. They put the very minimal amount of sauce now and charge extra for a tiny bit more. I get lettuce wraps every time I come and always ask for no Scallions. This time the lady working there told me “ Scallions don’t come on lettuce wraps” and when I receive my food it has and Absurd amount of scallions. When I complained about it they told me sorry we’ve just been busy today. And when they brought out the teriyaki chicken and forgot my extra sauce and took them five minutes to get my extra sauce. The food just comes out looking so sloppy and I’m not sure if I will be coming back or not it hurts to say that my one’s favorite spot is now unflattering. Also this is how I received my food noddles had no sauce but I asked for sauce and my daughters teriyaki chicken. So disappointed.
Something is ALWAYS wrong at this location. I ordered food at 5:30 for a 6:00 curbside pickup. Got here at 5:55pm. Tried to call (12 times) Phone was constantly busy. I went to the website and called another number, told them who I was and what I was waiting for. After some searching, the young woman says " they're still working on it. We'll bring it right out." 15 min....still no food. I call the number again and now it's busy. I got out of my car and limp in ( thats why I ordered curbside) and to my amazement, there were only 2 tables occupied. I give the cashier my name & she searches through 3 bags sitting out and then brings me a bag with somewhat warm food. I asked why she didn't bring it out as promised and she shrugs her shoulders. I'm done with PeiWei! You've completely lost this customer.
03/06/2022, Sunday, Arlington location. $58.00 dollars TOTALLY WASTED!!!! MYSELF and my boyfriend are up at 4am with food poison! Vomiting and diarrhea stomach cramps! Don't waste your time, don't trash your money, don't risk your health! I will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!! BUYER BE WARE!!!! THOS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WITH ROCK GUTS!!!!!
I order online paid and was told my order would be ready at 7:49pm. I get to the location at 7:50pm and my order is not ready....I've been waiting now over 15 extra minutes since I order this place is a joke. The wait to sit down is 25 minutes. I've been waiting that long and I order online. This will be my last time coming to this place....I'm going to post on my IG & facebook!! Don't promise a time and then make your customer wait!!! Worst customer service ever!!!Don't eat here!! No one said nothing except we're busy!! I had to go up to the counter and ask if my order was ready twice!! Very sad!! Finally 45 minutes later!!#neveragain
New containers ! Not even full! I order several times week and now they send out child portions !!! Well no more!!! Shame on u!!! I have never minded spending more for PEI WEI since it was quality food and decent portions… well back to the old tried and true Chinese take out! At least you get your dollars worth… or should I say 11 … barely enough in the container for one person!! I ordered 3 meals from Door Dash and it’s barely enough food for 2!!!
Pei Wei used to be a go to for a great experience. I am so disappointed in the product now I will likely never return. Environment was frantic and felt like fast food unlike before with nice lighting and dining experience. Everything was served in to go containers with plastic ware unlike before with plates and silverware. The menu has changed, the portions are 30% less and the quality of product has dropped. I'm happy to say the prices ($35 for 2) are still high even though portions and quality are sub par. I did not finish my meal and was sad to leave one of my favorite places. Back to PF Chang's I guess!
