Definitely delicious!!! I had the tacos de birria and they were so juicy full of flavor. My daughter loved the quesadillas, ate all her rice which had vegetables in it and my husband was very impressed with the enchiladas and got sauce. Cold draft beer and bar I’ll have to come back to try more. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent!
First time here and I always appreciate great service and this by far was above and beyond. Love how they check on you and ensure that you’re taken care of. Food was also delicious had beef fajita street tacos. The margaritas we enjoyed. Tried the spicy cucumber and the traditional. Servings were worth the price. It’s a small place but cozy and I’ll be back
I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by how good their tortilla soup is, and today I tried Papaya's. It is, hands down, one of the BEST tortilla soups I've ever had in my life. Everything else that I've had here has also been excellent. The margaritas are amazing - no skimping here!If you're looking for authentic flavors and great service, Papaya's is it!
It was wonderful! The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly. This was the 2nd time I had been there. This time was even better than the last time I was there. They get 5 stars from me and my husband and my son and daughter in law!!! Keep up the good work!!
Tried Papaya after seeing some recommendations on Nextdoor. Probably never would have if that hadn't been the case since it really doesn't catch your eye going by. It's in a strip center with no signage other than right above the restaurant so you won't catch it unless you're looking. I was wanting to try the Birria Tacos since that was what was recommended on ND and I'd never had that before. My wife settled on the Chicken Flautas. She also had a Swirl (Frozen Margarita) which wasn't much to look at but she said it was tasty. For the Birria Tacos, it was a choice of 4 with rice and beans or 5 with no sides. I chose the former because I wanted to try something besides the tacos. The tacos were very good. It was somewhat small (street taco size?) double corn tortilla tacos with a lot of beef on them. The "stew" wasn't thick but I'm no expert on birria so maybe that's normal. There was nothing wrong with the taste of either. It came with a side of green sauce and a side of a red (ancho?) sauce but I preferred the salsa that came with the chips. It was obviously homemade and I thought it was excellent. Not too hot, not too "tomatoey" but lots of flavor. The chips were store-bought but thin and crisp and very good. The beans were pretty standard and the rice was good Mexican rice. There were, I think, five large flautas. Large tortilla, lots of chicken, sour, cream, guac and pico de gallo on the side. I tried one (too much food for my wife) and I thought it had been fried a little too long but it wasn't overly greasy and the chicken was good. Overall, the portions were large, our waitress was very nice and I thought the prices were more than reasonable. Our waitress could have used some help. I think she was waiting all the tables so we had to wait a bit sometimes for drink refills, the check, more chips, etc...But she was very nice and was working very hard. I'd go back and I'd take friends and that about says it all. Definitely worth a try!
Margaritas are really good and they have the best Chicken quesadillas!
The Rita’s are awesome ~ food did not disappoint ~ and service was great ~ we will definitely be going back ~ ??
What I saw advertised vs what I got. They were very dry and beef was not used, it was some shredded dry pork. Definitely would not order from here again.
Food was amazing! A lot for a great price too.Drinks good and strong!Staff so nice and friendly!Definitely recommend. I will for sure be back!
Great food!!!! One of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time. Great customer service
