I hope it was a off day..but all 50 years of my life eating jamaican food I was very disappointed in our oxtail meal tonight. Will try something else next time but not oxtail.
This place was definitely a Vibe. The food was tremendously delicious especially since it was my first time trying Jamaican Food. If you want to get out your culture I definitely recommend.
This lounge/ restaurant gets one star! The only thing that was good was the entertainment….The food was disgusting. I ordered some beef patties that taste like they was warm up in the microwave.( Red Flag)Then I got the brown stew chicken with rice/peas and mac n cheese (Jerk) (Red Flag) (Red Flag) (Red Flag ) it was horrible! Throw the whole plate away! Drinks was ok.
I went to this restaurant and was HIGHLY disappointed in the customer service and the treatment that my friend and I had. I contemplated back & forth if I should make this review or not. But, how we were treated was totally unacceptable!! As a business owner and in the customer service industry this was the worst I have ever received! When we get there we were seated and we ordered our drinks (which was the best part about our evening there and listening to the karaoke singers perform!) before ordering our food! I decided to order the Curry Chicken with the Mac & Cheese & Vegetables (Cabbage)... Well, the menu stated that the Mac & Cheese was MAC & CHEESE!When our meals came our food was served with "To- Go" plates... We noticed that our Mac & cheese was brownish... We were shocked... But, we still tried it. Come to find out... It was JERK MAC & CHEESE! I took 2 bites and could not eat the rest. It was not good to us at all. Lite Spicy Jerk Sauce with the noodles and Cheese on top! Okay, if that's what y'all were serving... That should have been disclosed on the menu because we would not have ordered that Mac & Cheese if we knew it was going to be Jerk Mac & Cheese! My curry chicken, rice & peas was decent... The Cabbage was not cooked all the way but that wasn't a big deal to me... I was just planning on bringing back home to cook a little longer to my preference! So, our waitress comes back around to us and we told her that we did not like our Mac & Cheese and would like to either take it off of our bill or exchange. So, she left and went to the back & ask the manager what she should do. So, she told us that we can exchange. So, I said I will take the Vegetables... Well, when she went to go put the order in.. the manager told her that we could not exchange or get a refund... & Pointed at a sign that was BEHIND us & that we did not see or know about until she pointed out... That there are no refunds or exchanges!! So, at this point we wanted to talk to the manager because we needed to express our concerns about the whole ordeal. Well, she went to go get her and the MANAGER said that she could not come out because she was fulfilling Doordash orders! So, they'd rather lose out on a Customer & this whole thing couldve been avoided! We were not trying to start any trouble or cause problems! We just wanted to be treated fairly! & It just escalated so quickly!I mean what if we had kids with us and we ordered Mac & cheese for them and it was jerk Mac & cheese... I mean it's just unbelievable!I've had Jamaican Mac & Cheese all throughout my adulthood and never had anything like this & the service as well!Just posting this so other consumers would be aware!
So we went to One Love Lounge to get some food and ended up at a comedy show, so we had great food, great drinks and lots of laughs. If you haven't been you must check them out.

I had a wonderful time there and they great drinks and Caribbean food the owner and staff is awesome come out and check them out you will love it
One Love Restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and nice and friendly services. The owner provides perfection in every meal.
