My wife and I were in Arlington around lunch and sought out a heart healthy scarfing establishment. Base on other reviews we decided to try Olives. The staff was helpful and we even had the owner and cook come by out table to talk with us...the food was prepared nicely and the flavors were exceptional.It was nice to have the personal service and quality of food and taste.We will definitely make it a point to eat there more often.
...and that's exactly what we were hoping for. In fact, we liked Olives Mediterranean Grill so much we went there twice in one day, in the course of spending several days in Fort Worth and the surrounding area. We were looking for Greek cuisine and, in particular, for pastitsio, a dish that inexplicably gets left off the menu at lots of Greek restaurants, perhaps because it is work-intensive. But Olives offers the dish on their dinner menu and, even better, said we were free to bring in our own bottle of wine (the restaurant has no bar). So we made a reservation for a Saturday evening in June. Then, when we found ourselves in the neighborhood around lunchtime that day, we decided to give it a try then too. We're very glad we did. Both lunch and dinner were delicious -- pastitsio particularly so -- and the service was friendly and well-organized. The restaurant itself is small and seems to have been occupied by other sorts of establishments over the years, but the setting was pleasant, clean, and blessedly cool, and the prices downright moderate. The cooking is authentic and the menu diverse -- we will definitely return the next time we're in the area. As a final added touch, somehow my debit card and I got separated from each other after dinner, but the staff at Olives just put it aside and I was able to drop by and pick it up on the following Monday afternoon. It was a nice considerate touch, by people who definitely care about their clientele...
Beautiful restaurant. Not a new feel but a moms kitchen feel. My waitress was on top of everything. The food was a grand slam. Everything was above excellent. This is fresh food. I would recommend this place to everyone it is amazing.
Food was delicious and fairly priced. Needed something quick and not too heavy for dinner and this was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered hummus with pita bread, gyro, and falafel wrap with side salads. Will keep this place as my go to next time we come to Arlington again.
The food is top notch . Ali the owner is great at cooking the best Mediterranean food. My husband loves the shrimp,sauteed veggies and Greek salad. I love the chicken kabobs, saffron rice, and Caesars salad. The baklava is amazing. We also have Persian tea as well. Such a perfect meal everytime. And the restaurant is like right out of Mediterranean town The service is spot on and they treat us like they are excited we are there. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
Really great place and nice atmosphere. They have great pita bread (nice, warm and soft) with humus. If you like Chicken Cabob you'll enjoy it with the nice flavors they produce. Nice healthy meals. Enjoy! Because we always do! And tell them Large Marge sent ya! lol
Great place. Some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Menu is on the small side, but what they have is amazing.Also, seriously one if the best salads I've ever eaten. Dressing us perfect, just the right amount t of feta cheese, not too big to ruin your meal but just the perfect size.Easily q place id recommend.
Hands down the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in DFW. I eat a vegan/vegetarian diet, and their options are delicious. Pictured: falafel, rice, hummus, babaganoush, dolmas, and their tabbouleh salad. Will definitely return, again and again.
We dropped in here for lunch and loved it! We got the the beef and chicken lunch combo plates and they were AMAZING! The super friendly and attentive staff ensured we were taken care of. A great little place, I highly recommend dropping in should you find yourself in the area!
Olive's Mediterranean Grill has some of the bestMediterranean food in Arlington Texas. The chef and the staff are some of the most amazing people you'll ever meet and the garlic chicken, baklava and "footballs(not on the menu)" aren't to be missed! Give Olives a try when you're out one evening for dinner. You certainly won't regret it. Happy eating!
