Nov 6, 2020 is when I visited here, it's a humble place with alright prices where food was good and stylish. The sushi was fresh and the green tea fried ice cream was stellar. Service was a little slow though. The establishment overall was clean and our server did everything right.
This has been a go to spot for me for the past 10 years! If your a newbie when it comes to sushi, this would be your best place to start. When considering it's a buffet, you are not stuck with just one option, you can always change it up! So, what are you waiting for?
We had a party of 5 with 2 kids and tried the buffet on a Sunday night. They have a salad section, hot foods section, fruits and dessert, and a sushi rolls section. I started with the hot foods and grabbed some noodles and fried seafood. They were good. The sushi rolls section has a lot to choose from. I was excited and wanted to try all of them. They were mostly ok, but maybe eating too many choices ruined the experience for me. After a while and 20 rolls later, they started to taste the same and not unique. I probably should have been more selective. The fruit was good. They also have large marshmallows that you can pour melted chocolate on.The buffet dinner price is $16.99/adult. I guess the price went up based on past reviews I read. Since the experience wasn't great, the price was a bit disappointing. Our waiter was very nice.
Let me start by saying the food had great flavor, the sushi delicious and was the main reason I’m giving three stars. The staff was great, they looked happy and were very informative.Now, my main CONCERN and I mean this with heavy weight.. the food is NOT temp controlled! That is extremely dangerous and a major health code violation. The sushi is placed on platters and sit at room temp. The hot food section was lukewarm and food was cold by the time it made it to the table. This is something that can be fixed and I hope the owners do something quick. I would hate for anyone to get extremely ill due to the lack of quality control.
If you want to eat sushi at a fair price this is the option! Buffet at $13 it’s not the best sushi ever but it’s good, I go really often.
I ended up spitting most every piece out. Salmon should never taste and smell fishy fishy. I used to eat at the one in fort worth all the time when it had the buffet and I loved every type.Here has few options and they are not well tasting.My son and I feel very disappointed we wasted our money, time and date night on this.All the great reviews are so deceptive. I didnt try anything that was better than grocery store sushi.**update: within 20 minutes of leaving we both had to hit a bathroom with upset stomachs.
I came with a craving for sushi and left less than satisfied. The place sits in an area with many high-quality restaurants but fails to deliver adequate service or go for better ingredients for a slightly higher than average price you'd pay for most Asian buffets. To say I'm disappointed is a bit of an understatement as we were checked on maybe twice in the entire meal, with one of those being the check. They do not stick around to answer questions, the ingredients taste low quality, and there is a questionable food safety standard in the restaurant as the food tastes all right but screams food poisoning. When tables were cleaned near us the lysol spray made its way into our faces and was too heavily sprayed. I'd be surprised if I ever desire to come here again, and I encourage you to rethink your trip if you are curious about this place.
Arrived around 930pm. Figured as a buffet they wouldn’t be refreshing the bar and I was right. So, I decided I’d go with ordering off the menu for something fresh. Ordered fried crab rangoons, steam gyoza, and fried calamari. They all were cold when it arrived to the table. That was going to dictate if I would ordered anything, and unfortunately as I predicted, they failed the test. My wife ordered the Texas Ranger sushi roll and it was good. That’s how the 1 star rating was earned. Probably won’t be coming back and will not recommend to anyone.
Very good, yummiest sushi that I have ever ate. Good Quality sushi. Our server was so nice, he explained everything what they have. Very much impressed with the service and of course with the yummiest sushi. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended ?
