First time trying out this sushi place while shopping in Arlington. Honestly I was VERY disappointed at the quality and presentation for a $110 sushi dinner ticket. It was not busy at all when we were there and yet this is how our food came out. The $17-18 specialty rolls looked noting their picture on the menu. It was very a small for the price and everything was crowded on one plate rather than placed on individual plates like they should be. These should be $5-8 California rolls with fake crab meat rather than the high priced rolls. The fried lobster roll that came out by itself was nasty for the price. The meat was cold and chewy (tiny rolls) and covered with I have no idea what... Fried onions or whatever it is. Absolute disappointment all the way around. Will definitely NOT be returning.Plus... They really need to wipe down their bathroom doors and sweep the floors. Not sure how they passed health Inspections. Just hope we don't get sick. ?
I’m new to Texas and I love sushi. I googled this spot. Although I got here at 1:56 I still was able to sit and eat. I ordered the Paradise roll, Temptation roll, and Long Island. Delicious and the drink was liqquuuaaaa lol. It was great
We scouted the reviews to find this place and it did not disappoint. We ordered:Chilean sea bass roll - EXCELLENTVolcano Roll - ExcellentSashimi appetizer - very goodTempura Udon - so hearty, excellentNabeyaki Udon - IncredibleDirty Martini - pretty goodMargarita - pretty goodThe food really was incredible. The broth for the Udon was the star. It was unlike any I've ever had before. My only criticism is the rice for the rolls didn't hold well so when I'd try and grab it with my chopsticks, they'd start coming undone. Not a big issue for me, as the flavors were so good.We went on a Sunday evening, and we were able to get a table right away, even though there were a lot of people there as this place does have a big client base.
Best presentation. The chef Joshua was the best entertainer and definitely coming back and spend money. Absolutely worthy.
So good! Now I know why it’s so busy. Wait time takes a while so keep yourself busy. Host/waitress were super sweet. The food is delicious. I’ve only tried the maverick roll (pictured) and my friend got the shrimp tempura roll. Both were good. Lots of hibachi grills and family birthday events. Cute place we will be back
We went here today for a walk down memory lane as we used to live and work in the area. It was even better than it used to be! Clean and well maintained, reasonable prices, excellent food, and the best part was the service. The waitress we had went above and beyond serving us quickly and pleasantly. The highlands is awesome but so crowded. This place is just 3-4 minutes behind it and has plenty of room. Thank you Nagoya for a wonderful date with my husband!
Our family has been going to Nagoya for over 16 years. This is the best Hibachi restaurant in town.
Such a pleasant place. ? Yummy and kind service! 5 stars all the way.
THE BEST HIBACHI AND SUSHI IN DFW! I’ve gone to a lot of hibachi restaurants and none come close to Nagoya. This is my favorite restaurant and the staff are so nice and attentive. 5 stars!
After waking up from the Jehovah's Witnesses cult, I was finally free to enjoy the simple things in life, such as birthdays. Nearing 50, my wife decided to make reservations in Nagoya. Because of COVID, this restaurant seemed like a restaurant where you could play it safer than others. We had a blast! I've been to other Japanese Grill places, and none impressed me. But, Nagoya did more than that. It was fun; the food was exquisite, and the service was excellent. This is a place where I will definitely return.
