I purchased the highway men plate the sides was disapointing. The brisket mac & cheese was mushy like it was reheated from the day before or just overcooked and need seasoning. Same for the pinto bean it seem like they was made the day before. Also if the beans are made from scratch they need to be soaked before cooking, so they would be softer. The ribs where good. The jalapeno sausage, brisket, and the pulled pork was mediocre to me.
This is some good BBQ! Stopped in on my way home, and got the best service. The food was AMAZING!!! And the Pecan pie! ? I can't wait to eat here again. ?
I'll start by saying the staff is super friendly and accommodating.The bbq is mediocre. The flavor was great but overall very dry.
I usually don’t make a fuss about bbq places…most taste alike. Millsmade is LEGIT! Travis really knows how to smoke some meat. Brisket…the best Turkey…super delicious Beef ribs…OMG! nothing beats it. Brisket Mac n cheese…to die for Indian tacos…shut your mouth. Could eat one of these every day! If you haven’t yet…you gotta try this place out. You won’t regret it.
Tried for the first time last night for dinner. We got sliced brisket, sausage and the mac and cheese.First lets start with service. We did get it to go but the lady at the counter was super friendly and since this was my first time I had some questions and she was happy to answer them and was very informative, she also told me about some weekend specials not on the regular menu so I will be back.Brisket was delicious. Moist and tender. It has a great smoke and the bark was delicious. Nice seasoning without overpowering the meat.Sausage had good smoke flavor. I did use a little BBQ sauce on the sausage and it was good. It is thin with a little pepper to it. NOT the thick over sweet BBQ sauce some places serve and I did like that. It would be a crime to waste such good brisket with sauce, but it was good with the sausage and to dip some bread in.My least favorite was the mac and cheese. The taste was very good with the brisket and it did have a nice smoky flavor and aroma. The macaroni was a little overcooked for my liking and I would have liked the cheese a little creamier. So great taste but a little off on texture, but not horrible or inedible. And this will not stop me from coming back at all. Mac and cheese is a side dish, I come to a BBQ place for the meat first anyway. So I give it 5 stars, a solid 4.75 all day, and I will be back
They have some delicious food. I tried the brisket Mac n cheese, spicy sausage, pulled pork, and elote. It was all really good!
Tried this place finally and I'm mad at myself for not going sooner. The staff are friendly and just so sweet. The food is OUTSTANDING! Literally everything tasted amazing and flavor packed. I got the sausage plate with cole slaw and their Cajun elote (must try). My husband got their chopped brisket sandwich (best brisket by far) with green beans (most flavorful beans I've ever had and im obsessed) and brisket Mac and cheese (again...obsessed). We each got a slice of their homemade sawdust pie (like a pecan pie texture wise, but it's coconut, chocolate chips, and pecan pieces). Highly recommend this pie and the place. ? All I can say is Millsmade is well worth the visit and we will be going back quite often.
Wonderful, yummy barbecue with lots of choices. Super friendly and fabulous service and our new favorite local BBQ!! Y'all need to go check them out!!
Good BBQ the meat was sooo tender. Great taste. Definitely go there again !!
